Happy Valentine's Day everybody. This is my Valentine's Day present for you. This could be a one-shot or it may be continued depending on how many reviews I get.
Valentine's Day
Annabeth was pacing back and forth in her apartment; partially because she was waiting for her Seaweed Brain Percy to show up and partially because it was Valentine's Day and she had a hunch Aphrodite would be up to something. There was a knock on her door, she stopped her pacing to open it. Percy stood outside, he was wearing a long sleeve white T-Shirt and jeans.
"Hi" he said uncertainly with his hands held behind his back.
"You're late!" snapped Annabeth. "I told you to be here at eleven thirty and it's twelve already."
"I'm sorry," mumbled Percy."but I went to buy you some chocolates and took a long time choosing."
He held out the heart-shaped box he'd been hiding behind his back. It was chocolate coloured box tied with a pink ribbon.
"Alright I forgive you," sighed Annabeth. "Come in."
She closed the door behind Percy and reached for the box.
"Not yet!" said Percy half panicking as he held the chocolates back behind his back. Was it just Annabeth's imagination or was Percy's face slightly pink. Before she had any time to comprehend what this might mean,Percy bent down on one knee. Blushing furiously he held up the box of chocolate.
"Will you be my Valentine?" he asked looking at her with those beautiful sea green eyes.
"Of course Seaweed Brain!" exclaimed Annabeth, her grey eyes shining. She accepted the chocolates from Percy and when he straightened up wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. If it were possible Percy's face went even redder, he hugged her then lifted her up and spun her in a circle.
"Stop, Percy...dizzy..." gasped Annabeth and Percy set her back on her feet. She then tugged at the ribbon on the box of chocolates.
"What type of chocolate are they?" She asked.
"Well half of them are your favourites; dark chocolate." answered Percy, once more turning pink.
"Half?" asked Annabeth supsiciously. "And the rest?"
"Blue saltwter taffy; my favourite." said Percy blushing a deeper shade of pink.
"Oh Seaweed Brain," Annabeth shook her head and grinned, she opened the box and took one one of the dark chocolates. Percy was right, they were her favourites. When she finished it, it was Percy's turn to grin.
"Hey Annabeth, there's some chocolate on your lips, here let me clean it off," he said, leaning in to to kiss her. "I love you Wise Girl"
"I love you too, Seaweed Brain" Annabeth replied returing the kiss.
