Chapter 1: Kids?

CM Punk held his wife AJ in his arms while they watched The Walking Dead in there home in Chicago. They have been married for three years and there relationship is going great but now AJ wants something... bad.

"Phil."

"Yes April?" He asked.

"Have you ever thought about having kids?" She felt him tense up and unwrap his arm from her small waist.

"Yes."

"And?" She pressed on hopefully.

"No." His eyes were fixed on the TV so he didn't have to see her heartbroken look.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because."

"Because what?"

"Just because." He snapped which made her coward down in fear. He sighed and opened his arms. "I'm sorry, come here." She went into his arms and cuddled with him until the show ended and the couple went upstairs and got ready for bed. I lay in Punks arms as i drift into my thoughts.

Why doesn't he want kids? I have to try to convince him... but how? I finally go to sleep with the man that will be the father of my kids.

I wake before Punk does the next morning and quietly get out of bed and go to the kitchen. I start to cook pancakes, bacon, and eggs. When Punk finally came downstairs was when i just finished breakfast and was serving the food on two plates.

"Good morning Punky." AJ said cheerfully giving Punk a peck on the lips.

"Morning AJ. Whats all this?" He looked at the food kind of suspiciously. She tried her best to look casual.

"Oh nothing I just wanted to make my lovely husband breakfast. Is that so bad?" She asked batting her eyelashes. He looked unsure but sat down and let AJ serve him and herself. The couple ate in silence until AJ broke it.

"So about last nigh-" Punk cut her off.

"We're not having kids." He stated firmly.

"Why cant you tell me why not?" He sighed and put a hand on his temple.

"April you know I don't want kids so we never having kids ok?" She was on the verge of tears as she got up from her seat and put down her fork not looking at him.

"I'm not that hungry anymore." She said quietly as she made her way up the stairs. She will convince him. She knew she will and she wasn't planning on giving up.
