She moved with the grace and skill born from years of training, matching him step for step. Even when he occasionally faltered and missed a step she would help him find his footing again with a gentle, guiding hand. It was almost a dance, moving perfectly in sync across the dusty field, and when it was over, they collapsed in each other's arms, panting and sweaty.

"You've gotten much better since the day you came and begged me to train you," Suki laughed, wiping the sweat from his forehead. Sokka smiled, brushing a damp lock of hair away from her face.

"Guess I can't tease Aang and Zuko about their little dance anymore," he said. "That was amazing! I...I've never felt so alive, even though I'm exhausted!"

"We should do this more often. How does every day sound?" she asked.

"Perfect." He pulled her close for a kiss, and they began a whole other kind of dance.
