Introduction
"RUN" "Keep going don't stop." "Don't look back keep running"
I was gasping for air my legs screamed in protest, but I couldn't stop if I did they would get me. They would drag me back to that hell hole then I would never see the sun.
I felt like crying as the trees whipped past me the moon high above me. What a glorious moon I hadn't seen it in 76 years it shone down upon me I could feel the strength ebbing from it. I can't go back I won't be sealed in that box anymore.
Erin runs behind me shouting encouragements we're almost there. Keep going don't stop running.I heard gunshots behind me Erin fell crying out as she hit the ground.
She lay there bleeding I couldn't leave her so I scooped her up and we kept going. The blood ran from her back if we didn't stop soon she would die but death was preferable to going back.
She cried out and I had to stop if only for a minute. Placing moss around the wound I attempted to get her going again but she couldn't move I tired to carry her but my legs would barely hold me up. "leave" "GO" she cried
"No I won't we're in this together I won't leave you" I held her close to me "I won't leave you so don't ask me to." she held me and I felt a warmth spreading through out my chest.
I held so tight to her I didn't realize she had opened a portal door in the trees. "I'll always be there" she whispered into my ears as she pushed me through and the portal closed behind me.
"ERIN" I cried out as I fell through space, the portal opened once more and I saw the lights of a city and a strange building shaped like a giant T.
