When I was packing up my stuff to get ready for college earlier today, I stumbled into this story I wrote when I was seven or eight, around the peak of the My Little Pony craze. sigh those were the days... I thought AWWWWW how cheesy I gotta post this. I also just realized this is my first "angst" entry on FanFiction... how ironic.

Chapter 1

Once there was a beautiful brown pony. She lived in the clouds with her friends. Her best friends were two twin butterflies. The butterflies dressed her very pretty. She was the most beautiful pony in her land. The pony's other friends were Florence fox, Candy cat, Betsy bird, and Danny dog. And I forgot, the pony's name was Princess.
Chapter 2

Princess grew so beautiful, all her friends admired her. One day, someone stole Princess from her home, and from her land. Her friends tried to help her, but the man who took her away was too strong. The man took her down from the sky and locked her in his fence. The man did not treat Princess nicely. He forced her to pull a cart. It was hard work for a pony. Princess didn't like living in the man's fence. She wished to be free.
Chapter 3

At night, Princess had to sleep on the hard ground. She wished to be sleeping in the soft, fluffy clouds. Princess did not get any sleep that night. It was scary. An owl swooped down and caught a mouse. Other frightened mice scurried into the fence-up and frightened Princess. The mice were nibbling on wheat. But Princess didn't have anything to eat. She wished she was one of those mice.
Chapter 4

At midnight, when the man was sound asleep, the gate door opened. Princess ran out of the gate, and ran far away from the man's house. Still she was sad and homesick. She saw her home up in the clouds, and her friends roaming freely. Princess could not fly to get up in the clouds. Soon she saw some wild horses. The wild horses asked what was bothering her. Princess told how the man took her away from her beautiful home, and how she could not get back there. The wild horses listened with tears in their eyes.
Chapter 5

"I'm sorry, but we can't help, because we can't fly to get you up in the clouds. If we could fly, we would take you up there," said the wild horses, as they went away.

Then Princess met a big, beautiful bird. The beautiful bird asked, "What is bothering you? I will do anything to help you."

Then Princess said, "A man took me from my land in the clouds. Somehow, he got all the way down here and locked me in his fence, and I escaped. But still I can't get to my beautiful land in the clouds."

"I will help you, I can fly. I will take you up in the clouds," said the beautiful bird.
Chapter 6

Then the big, beautiful bird took Princess back to her home in the clouds. "Thank you, kind bird. You gave me what I wished," said Princess. As for the man who took Princess away, the big beautiful bird pecked him until he learned a lesson.
