"Thief!!"

The cry echoed through the market. Leon slowed to a stop, Cloud stopping a few feet ahead of him. Within moments, a blur could be seen approaching them; obviously this was the so called thief. Unfortunately for her, she chose the path that brought her within reach of Cloud Strife. Leon watched, amused, as the golden haired man stopped the girl with one hand, pulling her up against his chest to stop her from escaping.

"Let me go!" She yelled.

"Calm down," Cloud said in his usual quiet voice. She gave up her fight and slumped in his arms. Cloud set her back down and then squatted in front of her. "Let me see what you took."

The girl didn't look at Cloud's face as she unfolded her arms revealing a couple of apples and a water cantle. Cloud whispered something to the girl. For the first time she looked at his face and Leon was shocked to see she was smiling. Even Cloud managed a small smirk before sending her off. No sooner then she had disappeared out of view then the shopkeeper appeared, puffing and red-faced.

"You let her go!"

Accusing Cloud Strife of anything when you are not his friend could result in serious injury if not death So Cloud backed the shopkeeper down with a glare alone. The man quickly retreated back to his store. Leon walked up to Cloud, standing by his shoulder. "Gone soft?"

Cloud looked at the brunette with a bored expression.

"By the way that money. . ."

Leon raised an eyebrow, "Yes?"

Cloud continued, "That was from the back pocket of your leather pants- the one with the tear on the knee."

And he walked away.

Leon stared at the blonde's back, trying to understand the comment. Wait a minute. . .

Leon checked to be sure.

Leather pants- check.

Tear on the left knee- check.

But these pants- he was wearing them.

As in they were on his body.

"Cloud Strife!!"

Cloud laughed and broke into a run, Leon chasing him.

Luckily for the blonde, he was able to outrun the lion until they reached their shared apartment. Cloud had just managed to run into the lounge when he was tackled onto the couch. Still laughing, he peeked up to meet the eyes of one irate Leon. "Cloud Strife if you are going to grope me it so had better not be for money," Leon placed a forceful kiss down on the blonde's lips.

When they broke for air, Cloud asked, "Do you want me to offer my services in exchange?"
