"Okay everyone! Monday is Honey's eighteenth birthday party! Our duty as the Host Club and his best friends it is our duty to BAKE HIME A CAKE!"
"Uh… Boss aside from Haruhi… none of us can bake." Hikaru mumbled with Kaoru picking up the sentence at the end. Tamaki sweat dropped. It was Honey's birthday on Monday and they needed to bake him a cake.
"Well in that case, Haruhi will command this operation!" Tamaki said dramatically pointing one finger towards Haruhi who, in return, pointed dumbly at herself. Tamaki smiled. His little girl would teach them all how to bake a cake. "Mommy you will be in charge of all baking ingredients! Go shopping with Haruhi later today."
"I thought we agreed to stop with the family thing because it would be weird of you to date your daughter?" Kyoya questioned. He was not Mommy, he was Kyoya, Sempai or cold-and-heartless money collector. As for collecting ingredients with Haruhi, he really could not complain. He hated himself for it, but he had developed a mild crush on his best friends girl friend.
SUNDAY NIGHT
The phone in Tamaki's mansion buzzed loudly. He raced to pick it up. It might be Haruhi. Out of the people in charge of the baking mission only Haruhi hadn't arrived.
"Hello?" He asked.
"I'm *cough* sorry Tamaki, but *cough, hack* I'm too *gag* sick to bake today." Haruhi choked out obviously very sick.
"Oh don't worry! Hikaru and Kaoru will gladly take your place as the head chef." Tamaki got no response other than a few broken coughs. Setting the phone down carefully he went back to the other boys waiting in the kitchen. "Haruhi is sick. Hikaru and Kaoru will now be in charge of this mission because they were the ones who said we can't bake!" He punctuated his final declaration by going into many-roses-around-the-screen-and-produce-one-more-out-of-thin-air mode.
"Is that really a good idea?" Mori commented in his usually near expressionless voice.
