Hi. Well, I like Danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil. THIS ISN'T A PHAN STORY! If you would like one, then ask. I have no problem with that. I don't know what else to say so… here's the story.
I breathed in the cold London air. I smiled as I walked towards the apartment building, carrying my things. I ,Victoria Russo, was in Manchester. I silently squealed to myself as I got my key from the landlord. I quickly called my best friend Alondra.
"Hey, I just got in," I smiled.
"I can't wait to get over there!" she cried
"When are coming?" I asked
"In about 5 days," she responded
"Okay," I teased. "I'm going to try really hard not to burn the house down."
"Tori, I swear! If I get there and-"
"I'm kidding!" I yelled over her threats.
"Fine," she laughed. "I'm still getting the bigger bedroom though."
"As if! I got here first," I said victoriously
"TORI!" she shrieked
"Sorry," I smiled. "Gotta go unpack."
After about 2 hours, I got bored. What do you expect? I looked out the window to see a Starbucks close by. I smiled. This apartment was practically made for Alondra and I. I put on my hoodie and run outside. As I started walking, I felt raindrops fall. I pulled my Panda hat from the stomach pocket of my hoodie. I pulled it on over my thick brown hair. I waited for the cross light to change. I noticed a guy next to me. He looked about my age. He was wearing a lion hat and humming a song. As the light changed, he walked in the same direction I did. He walked faster and held the door open for me. I smiled as my way of saying thanks. When we got in line, he took of his hat. My eyes widened as I realized who he was. Black hair, blue eyes, lion hat, Manchester. How could I have been so stupid!?
"Hi," he smiled
"You're Phil Lester," I said
He seemed surprised but laughed. He nodded.
"So I'm guessing you watch my videos,"
"Yup." I smiled
We ordered and got our drinks. There was an awkward silence. Normally, I could start a conversation. This time I didn't even dare. No way was I about to embarrass myself by acting like a fangirl. I was about to sit at a table until Phil started speaking again.
"Hey ummm…" he drifted off
"Victoria Russo," I responded
Why would I say my last name? I have to mentally slap myself later for that one.
"Victoria," he nodded. "Would you like to sit with me?"
Now everyone in the store was looking at us. I blushed and nodded. I sat with Phil. Again, awkward silence. I took a deep breath and looked at Phil.
"You don't have to call me Victoria," I started
I was surprised at how normal my voice sounded. It didn't crack or get high pitched. Good job Tor, good job.
"Have you got a nickname?" Phil asked
"Yeah." I responded. "Tori."
"Tori." he repeated, processing it. "I like it."
"Thank you?" I laughed awkwardly
"Your welcome," he smiled
He raised up his cardboard cup in a toast. I smiled and raised up mine.
"To new friends," he cried
"Cheers!" I yelled
We clinked the cups and laughed. We looked like complete idiots but I didn't care. I was with Phil Lester and that's all that really ever mattered. We walked out of Starbucks, stares following us.
"What brings you to Manchester?" Phil asked, holding out his arm for me
"I'm going to be living here with my best friend," I responded, taking his arm
"Is she here already?" He asked
"No, she coming in a week," I responded
"Well," Phil started. "I was going to walk you home but I don't want you to be lonely so how about we go to my place?"
"I'm fine with that," I shrugged
"Great! Off we go!" Phil yelled while dragging me through a crowd
