i do own the images that pop into my head like these that made me write this fluff
"Hey Naruto, what's up?"
"Not much Konahamaru. What's up with you?"
"A lot! Naruto would you do me a favor?"
"Sure Konahamaru. What do you want?"
" We are dressing up in costumes for Halloween and I was hoping I could use one of your outfits."
Naruto grins from ear to ear.
"Sure! I'll loan you one of my outfits for Halloween!" he yells loud enough for anyone nearby to hear.
NEXT DAY,
"Hey Sasuke, I'll bet nobody borrowed any of your outfits for Halloween."
"NH, loser."
"Hey Sakura, did anybody ask to use your clothes for Halloween?"
BAMMM
"Hinata, did anyone ask to borrow anything from you?"
"n n n no Naruto. N N No one asked me."
"Hey Kakashi – sensei, did you see Konahamaru today?"
"Who?"
" Hi Iruka-sensei did you see konahamru's costume yet?"
"Why yes Naruto I did. It was very kind of you to loan him your outfit. You should all stick around and watch our Halloween parade. Here they come now."
One by one the kids came out…
The first one looked exactly like Rock Lee.
Then there was a Neji, Sikamaru, Ino, Tenten, and Gaara group.
There were a Tsunade and Jiriya, which were followed by a Sakura, and 3 Sasukes.
"Hey Iruka-sensei where is Konahamaru?"
"Don't worry Naruto he is coming. He just has trouble fitting through the door."
"WHAT?"
Naruto couldn't believe his eyes as the whole crowd burst out laughing as Konahamaru came out of the classroom.
He was dressed as a huge Jack-O-Lantern.
NEXT DAY,
"Hey loser, it sure was nice of you to loan Konahamaru your outfit" Sasuke says as they start to train.
"Oh yeah! Why is that?"
"Because Naruto. The smile highlights your rear end beautifully" laughs Sakura.
"Whose rear end are we discussing today? May I ask?"
"Naruto's rear end Kakashi- sensei."
"And why are we discussing his rear end? What did he do now?"
"It's because of this" Naruto says as he bends over, rear in the air.
SMILE
I wish that I could draw because the images in my mind that go along with this story are priceless. All the little ones dressed as the gennin teams, Konahamaru as an orange pumpkin, Naruto walking in the outfit the next day with the black eyes and mouth of the jack-o-lantern on the back of his suit, him bending over with a big mouth on his rear and a bigger smile on his face. The images kept flashing in my mind as I was sewing costumes for my kids.
