It was a beautiful day at Tarrytown Airport. Orland, Jay Jay, Snuffy, Tracy and Herky were all playing a game of Jet Frog outside the hanger when Brenda Blue approached them.

"Orland, I received a message from Prince Duffy," she told him. "He would like to invite you to Skylandia for a sleepover in Skylandia. What do you say- would you like to go?"

The tangerine striped jet was excited. He had never had a sleepover in Skylandia before, but he knew his friends had and they had a fun time.

"Yes please!" He said to Brenda. "When do I go?"

"You are allowed to go at 3:30pm." Brenda informed, smiling. "I'll let him know you're coming."

...

So at quarter to four that evening, Orland found the wind spout to Skylandia, and without hesitation, flew into it. And sometime later, he found himself in Skylandia itself.

"Welcome Orland!" Big Jocko announced. "Prince Duffy told me you were staying here tonight for a sleepover."

Resisting the urge to do loop de loops in the air, Orland replied excitedly, "Yes- my very first one here!"

"Very good!" smiled the guard. "Now I'll take you to Prince Duffy- he's waiting for you."

...

Prince Duffy was happy to see Orland back in his home kingdom once again.

"Ah, Orland, welcome back to Skylandia!" he exclaimed.

"Thank you, Your Highness," Orland replied politely, "and thank you for inviting me to your sleepover."

"You are welcome, Orland." Prince Duffy replied. "Let the sleepover begin!" He announced grandly.

...

Orland enjoyed himself at the sleepover. He played games such as Fess or Fly (which we know as Truth or Dare) Jet Frog and I spy. They had different kinds of pizza and salad that night for supper, and afterwards they had ice cream and waffles.

Soon though, six o'clock struck.

"Alright everyone it's bedtime!" The royal lime green skywriter announced.

Orland made his way up to the prince. He had something important to say.

"I enjoyed myself today Your Highness," he said politely. "But I want to go back home."

The planes were shocked with this latter statement.

"But why do you want to do that?" Brooklyn, Orland's lookalike, asked him.

"Well, I'm not used to going to bed this early." Orland grumbled. "I do go to bed early, but not this early!"

"If I might speak," Perky, the jester helicopter, announced. "I believe we had a similar situation with the rest of our friends from Tarrytown."

"Yes- they didn't like going to bed so early." Count Winger recalled. "But then you let them stay up 10 minutes longer to have social time."

"What's that?" Orland asked. He had never heard the term before.

"It's when planes can settle somewhere and talk about interesting things." The prince replied.

"That might work." Orland said thoughtfully.

"Well, I suppose, but it was amongst each other they talked to." Poor Prince Duffy fretted.

"Don't worry, Your Highness- I'll stay with Orland."

"Really- you would?"

"Yes," Brooklyn replied. "I've been having trouble sleeping anyway. Maybe this will help me, too."

"I suppose," agreed Prince Duffy. "You may have 10 minutes at the most. Goodnight Orland goodnight Brooklyn."

"Goodnight your Highness!" The two planes exclaimed.

With that, they settled to discuss whatever came to mind, and soon, they were fast asleep.

Next morning, after breakfast, Orland thanked them all, especially Prince Duffy and Brooklyn, for the sleepover and the wonderful time he had, and then he flew home to his friends at Tarrytown to tell them all about it.
