I was watching JE and was just no, Davies. NO. So this is my fixer upper, yay! Hope ya guys like it!

"Detonation in twenty rels. Nineteen."

Davros laughed sinisterly. "Stand witness, Time Lord. Stand witness, humans. Your strategies have failed, your weapons are useless, and. Oh. The end of the universe has come."

The canny voice sounded again "Nine, eight."

The Doctor looked desperately at Rose. "Rose, I'm so sorry."

"There's nothing to be sorry about Doctor. I knew the risk finding you would bring."

"Seven, six."

"Rose, I just want you to know that... That I..."

"Five, four,"

He took a deep breath. "Rose, I love you. I always have, and no matter what, I always will."

"Three, two,"

She cracked a small, watery smile. "I love you too Doctor." They smiled at each other, an immense weight lifted of their shoulders, even if the world was ending.

"One." An alarm sounded.

"Hmm, maybe not quite. Closing all Z-neutrino relay loops using an internalized synchronous back-feed reversal loop. That button there." Donna said cheerfully.

"System in shutdown."

"Detonation negative."

"Explain. Explain. Explain!"

"Here's an explanation for ya: I couldn't just let these two lovebirds die without one good snog, now could I? Your little zappy-thing brought out the meta-crisis in me!"

As she spoke, the meta-crisis somehow reversed itself, fading away back into the TARDIS.

Slightly startled, she blinked a few times and continued to work. She shut off Dalek weapons, and set them in reverse circles. After a bit more of tinkering, she turned off the prisons, and turned one on Davros. "Holding cells deactivated. Well, don't just stand there, Doctor, kiss the girl!"

For once, he didn't argue. Ignoring the present company, he ran to Rose. Hugging her tightly, he whispered in her ear, "I'm sorry I ever let you go."

She grinned and looked up at him. "Well, you never will again. Cos now you're stuck with me."

"I'm not complaining." Without giving her a chance to respond, he leaned down and kissed her. She was shocked for a second, but reciprocated his actions. When they finally broke apart, they looked into eachothers eyes, breathless and happy. There was quite a bit of clapping around them, but they ignored them.

They'd always be okay.
