Destiny : Our Existence

Konnichiwa minnasan! Watashi wa Ivy-chan. Here's one of my poems about Wormmon ( and probably the last ) and I have decided to post it here. It's basically about his wish for Ken to get back to his senses and.. you should know the rest. Compared to my other fics, it's much sweeter and enjoy it, as I don't think I'm gonna write anything else about him. Maybe someday, but not for the time being. I'm concentrating on schoolwork.

Destiny - Our Existence

I used to think if I would ever
Spread my wings and fly in the sky.
That was just a dream
And dreams don't come true,
Or do they?

What is destiny?
A funny, peculiar term?
Is it something I need?
Why am I being entrapped?
What is the darkness that
Envelopes and breaks my heart.

I used to think if my destiny
Would ever bring me to see the real you.
The autumn wind blows
And the breeze blows gently,
Waking me up from my sleep.

My destiny proves our existence,
Your existence and mine.
There's no reason to delay now,
So let's just move on,
Let's race up that beautiful hill
And play with the memories that
Are entangled in our hearts.

My destiny brings out your heart,
Your heart and mine.
There's not reason to blame each other now,
So let's just run on,
Let's escape from this reality,
And fly away to that world of mirages and illusions.

Dreams may just be lies,
And pain is much more real than happiness,
But how I wish to delude myself in those images,
Than to see you feeling hurt and lost.
I'll spread my wings and fly
High in the sky,
Lying to the world and myself,
That I'm really happy with you.

But no, that wasn't a lie,
Those thorns in my heart are just lies,
And so it's my destiny, and yours.
And, and I'll always be with you, Ken... ...
