I miss the strange yet sweet fantasies you shared with me in the early hours of the morning. They lulled me to sleep as I laid in your arms and imagined it was your lair that I had entered.
Vases of black roses filled the air with a faint, sweet fragrance. Curling tendrils of smoke from the many black and white candles lingered here and there in the air. Yet some other scent hovered just beyond my grasp as I descended into this underground labyrinth. A scent that was barely detectable, but yet it was a scent that seemed very old compared to the rest of the lingering smells. Something so old that is is nearly impossible to put any words to it.
As I explored the lower chambers, I noticed a presence, but I could not see a soul. Something seemed to compel me to go into a room at the end of one of the long hallways. As I walked towards that chamber, that strange scent seemed to grow stronger. When I walked into your chamber, a strange feeling of calm came over me. I felt strangely at ease in this room.
This chamber was entirely shrouded in black cloth, which appeared to be silk. There were a few black candles placed sparsely throughout the room, giving it a faint eerie glow. There were several mirrors positioned here and there along the walls. I glanced up when a strange movement caught my eye, and I realized the entire ceiling was mirrored as well.
A second later I noticed the coffin sitting along the far wall. It was positioned carefully on top of a massive stone altar. It was rather large, with very intricate carvings on the sides and top. As I took a closer look at it, I realized this coffin was large enough for two bodies.
Suddenly I felt that presence again, only this time it was directly behind me. Very slowly I turned around, and stood facing you. We were eye to eye, and as I stood there observing you, a slow sly smirk spread over your red lips. Just looking at you almost took my breath away. Your long, golden brown hair flowed over your shoulders like a mane. Your twin hazel eyes glimmered like two deep pools that you would find in a cave. If I were to look into those eyes for too long, I would fall into them and never be able to pull myself back out.
