"Is it going?" I frowned at the camera, I was currently resting my head on Beck's it was my second favourite place in the world. My first being in his arms.
"We're going."
"I don't see the thing blinking.."
"Its right there, see its recording." His voice was full of patience.
"No I didn't say it wasn't recording I said I don't see the blinky thing." I knew I being a pain without any real reason and I thanked god i was lucky enough to in love with a man who loved me back, and even luckier that that man was Beck Oliver.
"Well theres the blinky thing." I could tell he was trying to be patience and loving towards me.
"Say you love me." I was desperate to hear those words leave his lips.
"Magic word." See Beck knew the real side of me, and he was always trying to make me a better person and show other people that I wasn't always so cold and hateful.
"Please.."
"I love you." My heart swelled.
I then continued to recall Our drive by challenge from the previous day, and when we were done, the camera was turned off and we were all alone again I finally felt safe enough to say it.
"Hey baby?" my voice sounded weak, he knew instantly whatever I was about to say would leave me emotionally vulnerable and that was something I still wasn't comfortable with. Within a second his arm was reaching around me and pulling me close, letting me know it was going to be alright.
"You know what I said yesterday in the drive by challenge?"
"Yeah?" I felt his lips press against my forehead.
"I wasn't acting. I meant everything I said. I love you Beck. I always will, and I don't care if you get fat and bald one day because I will still love you and you will still be handsome to me." By the time I finished my sentence, my breath was shaky. Everyone in my life had walked away or given up on me, but not Beck, no matter how hard I had tried to push him away, he fought even harder to get in past my walls. It had taken me a full two years to be able to say this sort of stuff to him and even now I found it hard at times to do.
He was silent for a long time. My fear got the better of me and I looked to see his face, he was staring at me in shock, not a disgusted shock, a touched shock. "I love you too Jade and one day im going to marry you, just you wait and see."
