Yes, this was on here before. Yes, I took it down. Yes, this is the same person. That's all enjoy.
She sits on the edge of a cliff, feet dangling off the edge, the sweet salt air dancing around her. Her family was down there on the beach. Celebrating, always celebrating. Their happiness seemed to surround the entire beach rising with the warm air, slowly trying to surround her.
She sits with the wind in her hair blowing it around her head. She holds one flower from the many growing around her; a daisy one of the simplest flowers in the world.
She holds that one flower twisting and turning it in her hands. She carefully picks one petal, a solitary petal, and the purest of whites matching her white sun dress. She tosses that flower allowing it to be freed from her hand.
As it falls down, down, towards her family so softly falling as if it's doing a dance. She whispers against her will,"Loves me not." She says it with such a look of hurt because those three words feel like a knife through her heart. She lets the tears fall; she doesn't have to hold back how much it hurts no one is there to see.
Another petal falls doing the same soft dance as its brother, but this time as is falls down below she whispers, "Loves me." As the words fall from her lips a smiles breaks the sadness that was once on her face. She stays that way for a moment smile on her face sun shining down; she's the essence of happiness.
She repeats this process in a trance, muttering and whispering a series of "Loves me's.", and "Loves me not's." Each one sad the opposite emotion from the other, one pull tears from her eyes, while the other brings the brightest smile to her face. As they fall towards her family below, she allows the tears to fall heavily. They fall along with the white petals. They blend together in their own dances; different yet alike just like him and her.
Her hand shakes as she pulls off the last pure white petal from the flower. She holds in it her hands; she brings the hand to her heart. She grips the petal tightly as she closes her eyes. The tears fall from her eyes once more but these have a different reason as the hit her hands.
She releases the petal form her grasp and watches silently as it falls down, down, down, to her family, her tears mixing in with the dance that the lone petal is dancing.
She whispers into the wind once the petal is out of sight with a grin on her face," Loves me."
