A/N- All italics are seba's thoughts or emphasized words, apart from the last thought. That one is Arra's.
"Don't stay then just go off!" Arra shouted getting annoyed and chucking yet another book at Larten, Seba sighed , this had to stop.
"I will! And I should too!"Larten said arguing back,"I mean it is not like i did not tell you!" Then another scream from Arra and another load of insults.
Seba walked into the room to see his assistant bright red and Arra's eyes puffy and her cheeks red. This arguing had obviously gone on for a while. Larten stormed off leaving Arra, she dropped down onto her knees and began crying.Why did I not give Larten better advice?
"Shh Arra. It will get better, Larten just grows tired of the same scenery and life here in the mountain." She looked up and half smiled. This is going to take a while! "He did not mean to hurt your feelings"
"It isnt that seba, its why he didnt tell me sooner, he said he's leaving in two days time. I dont mind him going." She sniffed and stood up slowly.
"He only trully decided last night. Maybe we can find him and work it out?" She shook her head at that. This time is different than the other times he left for the cirque, i wonder if he knows how much he has hurt her?
"Thanks Seba. I'll find him myself and make him apologise or a fight on the bars,"Seba chuckled knowing his Assistant would gladly make a fool out of himself than fight Arra on the bars,"I think i'll go get something to eat."
"You do that Arra. If you need me I will be in the hall of princes probably for the next hour or so, then in the kitchens." Seba nodded and left fearing himself late for the meeting with the princes. Arra just stood there on her own, No-one to keep her safe eventhough she didn't need it. No-one to help prank Gavner. No-one to be pranked by Gavner.
Arra Sails felt empty for once in her life, Could a person honestly do this to me?
