when Achilles finds out that Patraclus has died. (note, they covered pretty much what I thought about in the movie, but I wanted to do a P.O.V. type thing for Achilles anyway)

The sand was wet and sticky as Achilles walked along the front line of the beach. He turned back to look at Bresias, the fear in her eyes said it all. She cowered away when he looked back to her, she knew that he was angry, she knew it was not her place to comfort him. Though, as Achilles looked back yet again, she was not there, he wanted her too, just to run her hand down the side of his face, to remind him that he was allowed to feel this pain.

Eudorus got up from the ground and sat still for a moment. The others came to his side but he shook his head and told them ' Achilles was right to it' it was foolish, in hindsight, that Patraclus could've been Achilles - Achilles had made up his mind and that meant it was to stay that way.

Achilles walked to the edge of sand just as the water came in and collapsed around his ankles, he felt tears forming behind his eyes but he forced them back. He couldn't cry. He couldn't show that he was as real as the other 'thousands of men'.

He then looked to the desecrated statue of Apollo. It seemed now, even in his days of never truly believing in the Gods, that Apollo had just striked, but it would not be the last that Apollo would see or hear from Achilles he had alot more to do before his time was done.
