Aang and the gang were flying into the night sky ontop of their trusted Appa. Everyone was sleeping except for Aang who was staring at his one true love, the girl who makes his heart melt every time she just glances at him, let alone smiles or talks to him. Katara, the south pole's only water bender, was who Aang wanted to spend the rest of his life with. And little did Katara know, he was going to do something about it.
"yip yip" Aang whispered as he steered Appa in a different direction to a place he'd heard about in his travels.
'katara is in for the night of her life' Aang thought to himself as he landed Appa in a clearing near his special place. He walked over to where Katara was asleep and gently picked her up and started to carry her "baby style" to the spot he wanted to show her.
"hey Katara" Aang whispered as he nudged her awake
"mmm five more minutes mmm" Katara mumbled wanting to drift back to sleep.
"no your getting up now" he said as he started tickling her
"No Aang haha Stop haha I'M UP I'M UP HAHAHA!" Katara said through her giggling fit.
"well good" Aang said as he helped Katara to her feet.
"WOW!" Katara exclaimed "This is beautiful" They were standing in a shrine with the water, earth, fire, and air symbols spread out throughout it. There was a waterfall that lit up in the moon light. It was the perfect spot for Aang to do what he was going to do next.
"Katara" Aang said nervously "there's something I want to tell you"
"What is it" Katara said dreamily still mesmerized by the scene
"wellIthinkIlikeyouandnotjustlikeyoubutloveyouandwillyoubemygirlfreind" aang said quickly
"Aang I couldn't understand a word you said" Katara said making Aang even more nervous
"I said I think I like you and not just like you but love you and what im trying to say is will you be my girl freind?" Aang said and waited anxiously for a response.
"Oh Aang" Katara said with tears in her eyes " Of cource I'll be your girl freind and another thing" she kissed him right on the lips "what took you so long?"
