Hello Guys, I am so sorry for not completing the story since forever. Unfortunately Life hasn't been easy lately and got pretty much busy along the way. I have re-edited the first chapter and added more to it. Chapter 2 will be in process and I am determined to continue writing the story. Thanks to yours encouragement reviews for giving me motivation to continue the story. ^_^
I began walking through this endless hallway where nothing but white touches its surroundings. I can almost see the end of the hallway showing a brand huge door as my fingers traced the soft walls around me.
So strange … It feels so familiar for me to be in such a place.
Where the hell am I ?! What is this comforting place ?! I can barely hear anyone's voice or even a single breath here except mine. As I reached the endless tunnel, and set my hands on the door examining those strange inscriptions written upon it. I took a deep breath and opened it to reveal the wonder that lies within. It was an enormous room connected with all the other doorless rooms but on its left side of the wall you can get attracted to several huge diagonal windows emitting light to every corner of the room. From there you can spot the beautiful sky hanging there with the clouds, never giving up their ambition to travel around the world. But it didn't take my attention long enough before I spotted a large figure standing right in front of me. It was a wondrous Dragon presenting itself with pride while scales of crystalline silver were glittering off his entire body showing his perfectly white and pure strong skin.
The Dragon breathed heavenly before he started staring directly into my eyes with ultimate silence.
As he came closer, my body shivered anxious and fear because according to him I was in a size of a small rock that can be easily crushed. Yet I wasn't afraid about the fact that he was a dragon, because it seemed to me as if I have known him my entire life.
Afterwards he backed off and took a deep breath again. Two small separate wings came out from each side of his neck like butterfly wings and they started to vibrate in a consuming sound. While he still kept his sight on me they stopped vibrating after a while until they switched on to swinging back and forth with a strong force of a wind. After applying so much pressure, I covered my face as he breathed sparkling dust blessing across my face. I covered my face quickly as possible to protect myself. The weirdest thing though is that something like this usually bothers your face, but instead it smelled so refreshing. I slowly removed my arms from my face and stared at him for any other strange movements. Yet he just shacked his head and gave me a comforting look like assuring me that its okay. Not to mention this dust he just blew smells so breath taking, nothing like I have ever smelled before.
Each breath I took made me feel calm and peaceful.
Each sprinkle of dust caressed my face softly. With each touch it disappeared into thousands of tiny fallen stars.
After enjoying every sensation of it, I opened my eyes to see him lowering his head to my reach, wanting me to ride him. Pretty much in my entire life I was alone and never had such a companionship except my sister Serah of course, yet this is something different. He seemed like some sort of an ally to depend my entire life on. It felt so exciting that I ran towards him climbed on his head and positioned myself on his neck while I grabbed his big pointy ears very tightly. As he started raising up and preparing himself to fly right above us, there was another huge opening up in the ceiling that I never realized it up until now. He spread his wings and flew right up so fast like any other creature I have ever encountered. The wind blew in my hair and across my face so amazingly, like I am alive once again after all this pain I have been going through. We almost reached the end of the tall tunnel that I can almost see the bright sky and smell the wind of a new life … of a new adventure until …
tiiiiiiiiiit ... tiiiiiiiiiiiit … tiiiiiiiiiit …
I rose up shockingly straight up from the noise of the alarm beside my bed.
Huh?! ohhh?! I breathed heavily while my hand traced those fast movement of my chest rising up and lowering down.
I scrubbed my eyes so hard while trying to find the alarm beside me and turn it off.
{Where the hell is that thing ?! GOD DAMMIT IT YOU JUST RUINED MY ENTIRE DREAM.}
I finally found the button like a blind man and opened my eyes to the new light of the day. It was 6 AM and it was time to prepare myself for another day at work. I stretched my arms and yawned hard then I got up from bed went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and started wearing my Guardian Corp Uniform.
{ was it really a dream?! }
I thought to myself while I was buttoning my leather jacket. I combed my hair, wore my gloves and boots on then stared myself into the mirror. I touched each side of my face, checking up if there is still any dust effect being left over or if it really changed anything but sadly NOPE. It was just a dream -_- .
Except it revealed how much I have grown up so fast that I haven't even realized it anymore. True my parents died and there is nothing to do about it. Its is only me and Serah now. The entire responsibility has been placed on my shoulders to carry it for the rest of my life starting when I was 6 years old.
{ Heh – Mumbo- Jumbo } I laughed discreetly to myself. What am I babbling about?! I am 23 years old now. I am a responsible adult and taking care of what is left from this family. Serah. She is the most important person in my life and she is 17 years old now. It is almost time her time to wake up for school. We will make the best out of our lives and live for our beloved parents. I can't let it all go for nothing after everything they have sacrificed for us.
Besides the sun shines beautifully in my room and it's a brand new day after all.
I took my pack bag, the keys, the Gunblade and left my room. I slowly opened Serah's room across mine just to make sure she is okay before I leave. I went inside to see her and she was sleeping peacefully as ever.
I traced some hair locks away from her cute face and placed a small kiss on her forehead.
" I love you." I whispered to her as I got up and left the room as quietly as I came in.
I went outside the house, locked the doors, and went to my favorite car. As I jumped in, I took out a car air freshener, that I recently bought, in a shape of a silver Chocobo and placed it under the rearview mirror as I turned on the car and started to head off to work.
I grabbed a sandwich from my pack bag from the seat next to me and took a huge bite.
{Let's hear some news}I told myself {to see how much the world is doing out there.}
I turned on the radio when I stopped by a red Traffic light for a while, waiting for it to turn green someday.
"Good Morning citizens of Kingdom Lucius. We inform you today of the following news and later on we will jump directly to the Weather's performance for the entire week. Last week King Regis Lucis Caelum confirmed for a successful cooperation with Fleuret royal family for a new promising future for the kingdom. They will be working together to achieve a better economy and residential place for the king and his people. Rumors have already been spread that perhaps the youngest only son of King Regis prince Noctis Lucis Caelum and the astonishing daughter of the Fleuret family will be getting engaged soon. But sadly the police department have informed that the prince has been gone missing for a week and hasn't been found nor has he returned yet. It was confirmed that his absence occurred right after the successful meeting between the two royal families … "
''Huh such a typical thing from a prince … the girl probably freaked him out so he ran away like a pussy.''
I said laughingly with a chewing mouth.
'' Now that's just disrespectful from someone like you.'' said a strange man who appeared suddenly in my car sitting next to me while the car's door was still slightly open.
He had disorganized black hair, wearing dark clothing and covering his face with a hoodie.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY CAR?!"I said furiously as soon as I swallowed the bite I was chewing.
Where the hell did he come from ?!, I didn't even hear the car's door opening.
"Now don't freak out ok …'' said the man as he moved his hands up and down slowly, trying to calm me down.
"Yeaah right as if I can calm down with someone like you.''
I replied with a punch in his face.
''OOOOWWWW … you stole my statement that's not fair … damn you're strong." he said while covering up his left cheek because of the pain.
''OUT OF MY CAR NOW .. YOU MORON." I yelled pushing him out of the door with my boots.
"OK … OK …fine only if you do something for me." he said to me as he gave me that big eye thing look. He had such deep and beautiful blue pair of eyes. now that's something you don't see every once in awhile.
"And why would I help a weirdo helpless emo guy like you ? ''
I asked while folding my hands above my chest and giving a playful look. Though I have to admit the way he looked was attractive. I love messy looks for some reason.
He got annoyed and removed his hoodie to reveal even more messed up locks of his hair. It seemed he hasn't showered for a loooong time.
"Listen if you help me … WAIT WHAT ? ?'' he said while he checked his cloth then checked his looks in the front mirror of the car.
"HEY I DON"T LOOK EMO OKAY … I SWEAR I DON'T WORSHIP THE DEVIL OR SOME SORT OF THAT CRAP."
he said furiously looking at me with a grumpy face.
"Then how can you explain the way you look ?" I said while pointing at the men on other side of the street who are looking for him basically.
He looked on the other side, freaked out, shut the door, and put his weird hoodie back on. It covered him really well for that matter.
He turned back to me again and said "You find that funny don't chya ..?!" while I started to giggle in a low voice.
''That's not funny. Please just help me this one time and I won't bother you again. Please drive on and FAST." he said with a desperate tone.
"And what benefit will I get from helping you?!" I replayed playfully back. Because obviously I won't help him until I get something in return.
"A date with me." he said proudly with a smirking look as I went all red and shy.
"You're not the only one with a smart butt in here. I know you were checking me out." he said as he came closer to my face being only inches away. I tried backing off but I just hit the door on my back with no more space to back off. I felt so weak all of the sudden that I refused to lose to such a playboy.
I raised my head and looked back and this time with no red cheeks.
I faced him with a serious look of mine as I replayed "No-o-o-o-o …mmmmmmmmm" with warm lips placed on mine. As soon as he removed those dirty lips I grabbed the sides of his jacket and pushed him to his seat's door in a position where I was above him and he was under the car's window.
Luckily as ever, a police officer showed up knocking on the window since I was the only car who hasn't moved yet after the traffic lights turned green.
He came closer to observe the situation inside the car and turned red like a tomato. I was confused that he would recognize that I am fighting with someone but apparently someone pulled the zipper from my purple pullover to reveal my pushed up breasts. I looked down to see the emo guy underneath me looking at me in a dirty way while swinging the keys of my car around his left finger and giving me that smirking look trying to let me give in for his offer for help. The police officer tried to knock again with his other hand on his face. I pressed the button and let the window slide down open.
"Uhh Miss ... is everything alright?'' he said while trying to take a peak between his fingers.
I tried to get up but he had a tight grip on my arms that I couldn't move a single muscle. Not to mention that the car is so small I could barely move free. AHH what an embarrassing situation! I am gonna make you pay for what you have done just mark my words.
"No-o … No-o… everything is alright Sir. I Am just having a small technical problem." I replayed nervously to the officer while the emo guy was smirking me with those attractive black thin eyebrows of his and grabbing my Car keys with those sexy lips.
"That's okay Miss … Situations like these are understandable. But would you care do it somewhere else please Miss, because you're blocking the traffic. And another thing too Miss, You wouldn't have possibly seen a strange hooded man running away would you ?''
"I might have seen one. Why what's his story?" I said while paying him back that smirking look of his as he played with an angry look. He tried to escape underneath me that I had to give him a silent punch on his stomach to keep him under my arrest.
"Well you see Miss, he is a thief, and he has been stealing some food and money from local stores. He is a very dangerous man Miss, I recommend you to be careful around him for he is armed. If you have seen one please inform us right away." he said trying to look in the other direction rather than my sexy chest. I must say my boobs have grown really well. Well I can't say that am not an attractive woman.
"Well officer I have seen one very near by .. He is right und..er …. ouch." I got interrupted as he pressed his knee against my butt and pulled my private area tightly to his.
"DAMN IT CURSE YOU …" I said out loud.
"What did you say Miss ?'' asked the officer when he pulled me down so the officer wouldn't hear us.
"If you dare say anything … YOU ARE DEAD." he warned me quietly with the clip of my keys between his clean set of teeths.
"I will only help you if you do what I say. MY RULES."
I grabbed his private areas, which seem hard at the moment, as I whispered back seductively. He jumped back, moaned at my touch and released the keys from his mouth finally so I can grab them with my other hand. It seemed that he was already begging for it for I wasn't the only one checking someone out. No wonder he asked me out.
"Nothing Officer I just said He is right there. He ran through that park. After that I wasn't able spot him anywhere else." I said while still grabbing his wet area just in case he tries to run away again. He seemed to enjoy it to the fact that it was the only way so he wouldn't get caught. You bastard. You seize every opportunity you can get along the way.
"Thank you for your cooperation Miss. Wish you a go-oo-od day Miss and enjoy uhm-uhm your time." replayed the officer happily and ran away along with the other officers into the Gapra Whitewood Park.
I went back to my usual seat and zipped my pullover my as I ran the keys back into the engine again. As for him, he tried to recover after being awfully wet down there. I saw the time and I was 15 minutes late for work so I grabbed the handle and drove across the street as far as possible.
"Damn you're good. I have to admit that you won't be the only one enjoying the date." he said after a while of silence being held up for too long. He put his arm on the side of the window and set his eyes on me.
"Don't get too cocky. Besides, I won't date a poor guy who can't even take me to dinner." I said to him with a disgusted look.
"Hey don't get the wrong idea young lady. The one the officer was talking about wasn't me. They have mistaken me for somebody else." he replayed back to me with a satisfying smile.
"Besides I don't think a thief would look that dashing to you. Wouldn't it?" he said proudly with folded arms on his chest.
"What do you mean?! Then why are they following you?"
I asked surprisingly while trying to keep an eye to the road and try not let a speed camera capture me.
"Oh you already know why. You have already insulted me from the moment I came into your car." he said smoothly with hands above his shoulders locking them around his neck while taking a deep breath to relax.
"Whaat? You're the prince who ran away ." I freaked out until I stopped the car suddenly and made him hit his head hard on the front window.
"OWWW … you drive insane woman. You need to control your nerves." he said while glancing at me observing the heat of anger rising up.
"You think this is funny don't you? you ASSHOLE!" I replayed back with strong fists clutched up together ready for another kick in the butt.
"You should treat me with respect lady, I am THE PRINCE. SO STOP INSULTING ME." he said once again and returned back to his smooth position of sitting and putting his boots on the front on the car's window.
"As if I give a crap whether you are a prince or not, YOU FOOL. YOU ARE FINISHED!" I screamed, jumped on him and punched him with multiple strikes on his face till I was satisfied. I got back to my seat calmly and continued driving to work.
"Huh. A prince you say. Well don't forget your highness you have just insulted one of your people who has a high rank for being a determined soldier for your country."
I spoke with so much confidence in myself. I never really cared what position the person was in. But whoever disrespected me or insulted me gets into trouble. I guess that's the way I grew up. That's the only way to keep myself protected. It was the only way to ...
I tried to forget about it this instant and not to think of my weaknesses ever again. I shouldn't let my emotions go deeper or they will ruin me from the one thing am protective of.
Damn it. I drove forward trying to grab another Sandwich from my bag pack. Shit I can't reach it, that idiot threw it to the back seat after showing up all of the sudden in here. Which makes me question what sort of abilities he has, because I swear I would have heard him coming into the car by opening that noisy door. Yet he surprised me with his sudden appearance. I hope he won't do anything else, because i don't have time for his shit right now. I got more important things to do.
AHH FINALLY, I reached it and grabbed my favorite homemade Sandwich salami with mayonnaise, cheese, and salad. Heavy on the stomach but tasty and rather nourishing to start a new day at work.
Woow he seems rather quite still, until now not saying a word nor interrupting my driving. Thank God I can drive in peace now.
"Sooo ..." he spoke again. AHHH why won't you shut up for God's sake.
"What's your story Soldier ?!" He said looking halfway from the side of his eyes.
"Too boring for you to even pay attention to it." I said after biting another delicious bite.
"Are you married ?!"
"No, too early."
"Are you a divorced Woman ?!"
"No .. too overrated."
"Are youuuu ... broken hearted over some Jerk who didn't kiss your ass ?!"
"No. Rather too much wasted time to mourn over someone like that." I replayed back while staying calm. One thing for sure he annoys me and likes to tease me to get something in return. What a douche bag for a prince like him.
How did he even get to be the prince with such an attitude ?! Fuck that. I never really liked royal people for their fake high and pride shoulders over something they are not even really are from the inside. They are all spoiled, living in enchanting castles, and celebrating over some crap called economy. Their lives are pointless and have no meaning to what so ever to the outside world. People are dying everyday for countless reasons and they are partying with silver glasses. Which gives me even more reasons to hate him.
"Do you at least have a name Miss Sexy scenery ?!" he said while looking at my chest with half eyes open and a wide smile to irritate me once again all the way.
"You won't be needing it." I replayed back by not even giving him one small glance of attention.
"And why would you think that ?! What am I supposed to call you when we go out to our little date huh?! A huge shot of burning Vodka ?!" he said while I shake my head in disagreement and raised the radio's volume up to hear nothing but the news. They kept on talking about the idiotic figure of royalty who ran away and is currently sitting right there beside me. What a twisted interesting situation.
"Do you actually like to hear this bullshit ?! It's nothing but a bunch of lovely words written down and told publicly to the people to entertain them and keep the reporters silent for a while." he said angrily and changed the channel to some Music.
"I thought ..." I said when he interrupted me by completing my statement "You thought am such a lazy ass who sits on some glorious chair not giving a fuck to what happens to him nor around him and keeps partying up all night. Am I right ?!" looking at me through angry eyes then turning his face to the window and went completely blank as if I wasn't here anymore. It seemed to me that he wasn't the way I expected him to be but I can't be fooled either for who knows, perhaps he is trying to impress me. Yet an impression that turns someone completely grumpy and not saying a single word afterwards for the past few minutes means something serious is going on here. Maybe I went to far, so I suggested to cut off the silence the way he did, hoping to get him back to reality.
" So ... " I started talking expecting for it to work.
"My opinion about this is the reason I ran away Okay. I ran away because I got sick of it all. I know what I did was a mistake and am sorry that I violated into your car like that. But you were my only escape from those fake officers. My only hope to leave this all behind me and never wanting to return back ever again." He said while still looking outside not glancing even once back at me. For some reason I felt touchy about this. I didn't mean to hurt him but still he is a stranger that I cannot trust yet.
"Okaaaaay ... I might have pressed the wrong button here." I said trying to keep the conversation fluent as possible yet still Silence roomed the atmosphere again.
"Listen ... Ok I don't usually do this but ... I will help you in any way I can. Just stop being awful and ruining your good looks to being a sad homeless emo guy." I said while slightly yanking his jacket off his shoulder.
"Someone just can't resist me. I can't wait to see the rest from that beautiful view of yours Lightning."
he said looking at me with that dirty look again. Finally he is back to the way he was for I don't like to see people in pain or sadness because it reminds me of my own.
"Wait a sec. How did you know my name?!" I asked furiously that I had to turn to his face and look at him in disbelieve.
He came closer to my face and said with a sexy tone voice "Don't you get cuter when you look surprised ?! Ahhh ... You are so easy to read sweetheart." and he pulled out the name tag attached to my pack bag from the seat behind us.
"AHHHHH" I turned my eyes back to the road and said it out loud while breathing angrily. How come I am so stupid not to think about it. I am fooling myself now with this guy. Unbelievable. I turned my sight to him for a few seconds to see him smiling confidently.
"What are you smiling about ?!" I told him with grip tight hands on the wheel.
"Oh nothing. Let's just say you will have the best date of your life." he answered and blew a kiss to me in an Italian way. I decided to enjoy this while it lasts and take it smoothly. Besides I have never been asked to a date before so it will be a new adventure added to my routine life. First I gotta go to work and come up with a good excuse for my boss before I get into more serious trouble.
"Here we go, we're finally here." I said while turning the wheel right and preparing myself for the security check. Which means I gotta come up with something or some sort of an excuse, not to mention they will start asking me about him. Let's hope he won't spread stupid comments around the corner. Causing problems is the last thing I need right now.
"WHOOOW! … Now am really impressed! You work at the magnificent Eden Headquarters and Orders of Safety and Security for Society and Civilization." he said with a wide open face expression. He looked very amazed by how enormous and futuristic it looked. How all kinds of different buildings, from shapes and designs, are connected through designed bridges to make them all connected and reachable. Everything was made out of Crystal, Silver and White refreshing paint. From the outside of the Headquarters it seemed like an entire city of its own compared to its Location in the middle of the Lucis Kingdom. It sure looked stunning for me too when I first saw it for myself.
"Huh … ! That's amusing. You look like a kiddo going to a Theme park for the very first time. Why are you so amazed by the place?! It shouldn't be something new to your familiar life." I said with sarcasm while driving through the checkpoint as soon as my personal security card has been approved by the security machine and the gates opened their way for me.
"He He he … you got me all wrong honey. I am amazed because of never knowing a dashing babe working here. You don't get to see a sexy Soldier every day. Most women Soldiers are bold, having male looks or a boring style and behavior they got on themselves. They have Hormone issues. But you babe, you're on a whole another Level. I consider myself so damn lucky." He replied throwing a flirting wink at me.
I wonder what's the real reason behind him getting all surprised by coming up to this place. He definitely hides many things under his dirty flirting and flattering humor. "You're right! in some way of sense." I commented back in a sarcastic way.
I stopped the engine once I drove inside the pitch of darkness into a security building for another safety check, while the metal-black door was sealed upfront. Then all of the sudden he placed his hands on both sides of the seat and staring around in wonder of why it turned half-dark at the moment.
I have to admit it's totally strange for him, being all rich and royal, and never having been here before. As far as I remember, the King has honored us along with many welcoming visits to our headquarters. It seems to be that he is in bad terms with his kingly father. Well in the end, so are most families. There has to be a disagreement or otherwise it won't be fun.
A sudden sound emerged near us and closed the doors behind us, causing entire blackness to fill the room around without a faint of light.
"So what's gonna happen now?! Why did you stop the engine?! It's so dark in here!" He asked frighteningly.
I sighed, turned on the switch above us for a small light and said "Okayyyyy Now Kiddo...calm down from your excitement. We will get scanned from every corner."
"Entirely?!" he asked worryingly.
"Yuuuup!"
"Entirely?! Like even what's underneath our cloth?!"
"YES" I replied angrily.
"OH NO!" he said, started shaking entirely and moved through loads of distress in his seat.
"What is going on?! What are you so worried about?! It's just simple scanning. Don't tell me you got some shameful scars to hide?!" I said while giggling at him.
"Y-Yes .. S-Sort of." he said breathing heavily while his messy hair was standing like a scary crow.
"Don't be such a baby. Everything will be fine, you will see." I said while patting on his shoulder.
"I hope so. Because my father has been here, meaning he has been scanned too. MEANING they will notice some SIMILARITIES." he said glaring at me with chattering teeth.
"Relax dude. Just Trust me." I said and kissed his cheek softly. He turned slightly pink at my touch and calmed down a little.
A sudden sound came out again and I quickly turned off the light above us. A red laser flashed out that started scanning through the entire car from up until down, front to behind, and right to left. Next, a clink sound came out indicating a green light roaming the area then opening the metal-black door upfront granting us access. I started the engine once again and drove forward for another security check by a browned haired guard, wearing a green uniform and a Soldier hat, sitting there in a small squared white room with blue windows, and one opened from the right side to us. I slid my left window down and popped my head out leaning with one arm on the edge and the other staying put on the wheel when I reached there and stopped my car for a while. It seemed Markius was taking the shift from his friend today. He likes to help the others. Which makes him a good person despite his awful party habits.
"Good Morning Markius." I said wearing the brightest smile on my face.
"Hey Good Morning Light-san! How are we this morning?!"
"Doing very well though came a bit late today. I had to bring my good friend along on his first day of work who took too long getting dressed." I said while hearing him behind me sighing in disbelief with crossed arms on his chest like a disappointed child.
"Oh I see. That's why. I was curious for the scanner picked up another presence in your car. I was wondering for he has some strange familiar marks on his body."
"Oh yeah...He possess some weird powers that he can't control yet and wanted to see if it came out handy in any chance for our Headquarters. Which makes it also one of the reasons why he came with me today to see where am working and considering his chances here." I said to Markius playing along with the dumb story I just came up with. Unbelievable...
"That's very thoughtful of you Light-san. You never seem to fail us with good intentioned surprises. I hope your friend will be very pleased and consider working with us." Markius replied, leaning outside the window and waving at him .
"As long as I get paid well too you know. The world is sinking on the edge with not enough money to pay the bills." said that dirty ass behind me. Markius laughed quietly at his statement.
"Heyyy...am Dante. Nice to meet you Markius." said while waving back at Markius.
"You definitely right buddy, Nice to meet you too. Don't worry about it for here you get paid enough to enjoy little parties." replied Markius back, being friendly with him.
"Well see ya around Markius and take good care of yourself." I said trying to finish the conversation before it gets too suspicious.
"Sure thing Light-san and Dante let's get a drink sometime."
"Sure thing! Don't forget to count me in your little parties." he said back to Markius.
"Of course. We won't miss it without you." winking at him and waving farewell for now as I positioned myself for driving and pressed on the pedal.
"Angry of stealing your friend?!" he said while glancing at my reaction.
"No, Angry for that dirty ass of yours." I said with a tight grip on the wheels.
"Oh come on, you mean that sexy ass. Besides you're not bad yourself coming up with a smart excuse." he said with a suspicious pleasure in his voice.
"Thanks. You know you're not bad yourself playing along. But seriously Dante?! couldn't you come up with a better name?!"
"Heeey That name is a great name I got it from the Devil May Cry video game series. Dante sounds very devilish and attractive for the time being for your co-workers that I am so anxious to meet. Let's see if they are like the likes of you in here. Am gonna wonder how many dates am gonna save up on the line."

If you don't wanna get caught 'oh little miss I ran away from home because the toilets are not clean, so I decided to try the ones outside' then you better listen to me. This is a very secured place, any moves of suspicion and they will find out about you immediately."
"You're most welcome being Jealous for me. So...seriously what now?!" he asked with curiosity.
He said when I finally parked at the private parking place beside the general's Ford Expedition car beside the side walls of the main entrance to the headquarters. I turned aside facing him only inches far from his face and giving him a serious cold look of mine.
"Just shut up and follow me. And don't you dare spill some stupid rumors about me and you or any of that sort. If you wanna survive consider keeping your Nut shell safe and sound. Am I clear Mister playboy Dante?!"
"One thing is clear alright except the part about what's under there. Because the moment you would touch it am gonna burst dreaming of you babe. So yes you may consider messaging them through your anger and jealousy." he said staring at me back in a sexy look that I couldn't resist any longer.
His lips only inches away from my burning desire. I have never felt this way towards someone. As if time has stopped itself to admire this dirty ass who is now giving me a wonderful feeling by just being here. I stared at his sexy lips, which looked so watery and tasty waiting for me to grasp those delicious lips. He looked at me back in the same way I did. He looked down at my lips then back to my eyes as if he was waiting to see whether it was right or wrong to kiss me again. My body started heating up when I stared back at his oceanaire eyes that swept me away from reality once more. So I pulled him from both sides of his jacket and placed his lips upon mine, to feed this burning desire deep inside me. Those lips amazing as ever feeling so good on my own lips, he kissed me back deeply and brought himself closer to me. He placed a hand on my waist, getting under my white jacket to reach out to the touch of my heated skin. His other hand placed on my right hand that is pulling him and he pulled me closer. Our kiss started to deepen even more when our lips opened wider for a longer taste. And not missing any chances, he slipped his tongue directly inside my mouth colliding with my tongue as we grasped each other's taste. We started breathing heavily and I moaned at his touch that reached to my butt cheeks. My right hand, he was gripping, went behind his neck reaching to his smooth beautiful black hair. Feeling it and gripping it from behind to pull him closer, he moaned at my touch while my other left hand went to stroking from his neck to his left cheek. His hands went to holding my shoulders and our kiss took another minute then we stopped slowly for catching some air. Before it broke off, I also took the chance of biting his lower lip.
"Someone is not missing a chance to pass by." He glared at me with a hungry look. I held his face between my hands not allowing him to lean for another desirable kiss.
"I would say pretty much the same about you." I smiled back with a playful smile.
"So about our date...when are you ready?!" he said while stroking my right cheek and my waist.
"That has to be delayed for now until we see how much progress you have caused me to be late at work." I said while letting go of his hands, taking my pack bag from the seat behind and going outside of the car.
He went out too as I pulled my sunglasses out and put them on for another beautiful sunny day. I heard him suddenly whistling aloud.
"You look so yummy." he said staring at me from leaning above the car.
"Shut up! Time to move smart-ass." I said while heading to my workplace to greet the entrance filled with people. He followed me behind like a dog chasing someone else's tail. I stopped and pulled my sunglasses a little bit down, positioned my head slightly down too, glaring at him above my sunglasses and waited for him to stop this nonsense and I spoke firmly "Will you walk beside me and faster like a gentleman and not like a cat who's trying to catch a mouse?!"
"Yes Ma'am." He said while raising his hand on the side of his forehead and acting like an obedient Soldier.
I sighed and went on walking. Everyone was greeting me from afar and with many "Good Morning" expressions.
We passed by the glassy doors and went inside where everything looks glorious as always. Everything here is made of glass, crystals, and white-silvery colored walls. I like walking through this hallway, made up of firm crystalline floors that reflects the way I walk when I am wearing those favorite shorts of mine. Afterwards comes up the beautiful ceiling, which is so huge in shape of a half ball made up of blue glass triangle windows reflecting the sunlight into the hall like heavenly rays. It makes me feel beautiful and the world becomes a better place. This place rather just reminded me of my dream I had this morning. I still can't get that dragon out of my head. Why do I feel like I have known him my entire life?! His presence sure made me happy but painful at the same time.
We made it to the silvery door of the elevator on the side of the hall. As we went inside surrounding us walls of glass viewing everything outside, I pressed the 20th floor and stood inside with one arched arm on my waist. He on the other hand was leaning on the right glass wall beside me with wondering eyes and arms crossed on his chest.
"Keeping up with that modeling pose dear, I think I just might fall off this elevator." he commented on the way I stood there in front of him while I ignored him completely thinking about my next mission.
"This place is amazing! No wonder, that old man couldn't own it for himself." he said while looking down from the glass on the right.
"What are you talking about?!" as I slid off my sunglasses and hanged them on the right pocket of my jacket.
"When was his last visit at the headquarters?" he said looking seriously annoyed with sharp eyebrows at me.
"I guess a long time ago. I was told that he kept on visiting for many days back in 1999. Then he suddenly stopped. Some said he left very disappointed from the headquarters. It's been 17 years since we didn't hear anything from him anymore nor seen him passing by here. As far as for my concern, I don't really care about him and his fashioned life."
"Hmm I see. Well am glad that he won't bother you guys anymore with his stupid philosophies."
"Why?!"
"My father never took me here because he hates this organization. You are one of the finest headquarters in Kingdom Lucius that he doesn't have under his control, because you are not working for him. You guys are working for what's right and better for the society which gives you even the authority to eliminate us any time you want or even to replace us. He wanted you to provide him protection and access to everything that this world offers. But he couldn't because your general built this place which took the generations before him to build it with free will and power to do whatever you want. It existed even before my family began to rule this kingdom, which makes me excited now to have finally seen this place and examine it from the inside out." he explained while looking around in wonder.
"So you ran away because you wanted to be different?" asking him curiously.
"I wanna be a part of something I don't know yet but yes different than the way my father was raised through his entire life. You were right about the people in the likes of us. We are selfish and careless. We don't care what happens to society as long as we are safe and keep on partying in peace. We make events and celebrations in the name of revolution and democracy while actually it's all a waste of time and money. Then the old man pops up with a sudden marriage with that Fleuret family's daughter to cover up the mess he made and earn even more power over the kingdom. Which makes this organization his worst enemy."
"I guess I should be thankful then, that I am not working under that crazy over-ruled man." I said as I approached him with comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Listen. I know you're angry about it, but running away will never solve anything. Its healthy once in awhile to get some distance and realizing your true path and actions, but one way or another you have to go back."
"And what if I don't want to be a prince?! What if I want to live a normal life where I am the one who's creating and choosing the path?!"
"Then ask your father kindly to relieve you from your position as prince. I would do it if I were in your shoes. It would give me a huge relieve from messed up politics."
"Unfortunately I can't. It's not as easy as you think." he said as the elevator stopped at the 20th floor, opened its door, and welcomed us to Eden's administration office.
"I believe otherwise... I believe everything is possible when you take your Fate in your own hands instead of leaving it for chance by others...Let's continue this conversation another time. For now let's focus on more important things." I said when we started walking outside the elevator then across the hallway.
"Does that mean you have finally decided to go out with me?!" he asked while trying to catch my hand as I escaped from his reach.
"Still delayed and if you don't behave, it will be declined."
"Well we wouldn't let it reach to that now wouldn't we?! If I keep my mouth shut and behave well like a good boy would you consider it?!" he asked when I turned around to face him.
"I will think about it if you prove to be a good-ass around here."
I replied with crossed arms on my chest and a smile to satisfy his agreement. While he was annoyed by the expression I used in order for him to behave.
"Good morning Light-san." said an interrupted and recognizable voice. I turned around to see Ignis beside us. He was wearing his sharp rectangular glasses as always, his weird blond hairstyle with those spiky short bangs above his forehead and from behind silky and tall to his neck. He wore his black suit with a silver tie as always. But his fucking pants always annoyed me for they were so tight I could see what's underneath it. Can't blame him anyway.
"Good Morning Ignis. How are you doing?!" I said as I took another peak on those annoying pants then avoided looking at them for the rest of day.
"Fine as always, Thank you! You are always punctual but you came late today and the boss is anxious about the reason. You better go inside the general's Office and explain whatever the reason was and...I see you brought someone."
"Yeah... and you're totally rude. Ignoring me the whole way around. Pretending I don't even exist." said Noctis in an angry tone for disliking how much taller this guy was than him. He felt small in front of Ignis and had to stare into his eyes being only inches away from his face, giving an evil glare, arms pressed on both sides of his waist and standing on his toes to reach his height. Ignis looked curiously back and took a step back.
"How impolite of me, Let me … " said Ignis before he got interrupted by him saying "Now don't introduce me with that filthy ass of yours."
I got angry and punched him straight into his stomach for what he just said to Ignis.
"OWWHHOOOW … WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" he whispered angrily at me.
"I don't need to explain myself. You were disrespectful. Now stay here and don't move a muscle until I return." I hissed silently back at him.
"FINE." he hissed back by gripping my arm and holding my face closely to his with one hand stopping me from heading towards the general's office.
"Don't take too long deary or I will be missing you." he softly whispered with only inches apart from my lips. As he leaned in for another kiss, I bit his lower lip so hard then pushed him to the wall behind him.
"I am off Ignis … and keep an eye on him for me will you?! he is an untamed animal." I said to Ignis while winking my left eye to him.
"Sure thing Light-san! I will keep him right under my nose." he replayed while keeping his gaze on Noctis.
One thing for sure I can depend on Ignis, despite his feelings for me that never been confessed but rather shown quite amazingly by showing lots of loyalty towards me. For that I respect him even though he has been in love with me for 5 years. Yet he keeps his word and does his work brilliantly.
"Under your nose or under your disgusting butt?!" he said discreetly laughing at him. I stopped walking for a moment and looked at him in a weird way for what he just said to Ignis. what did he mean by that?
"Shut up duffus." he said as he pulled him angrily from both sides of his jacket to his face to stare into his eyes from man to man.
"Yup! you are definitely gay. No wonder." he said with a dazzling smile to Ignis and kept on talking "Ahhh... I see...you have made an exception for Lightning only. I know how you feel man, she is too damn sexy for both genders. I have to agree." He said reassuringly while tapping on Ignis's shoulders as he turned away from Noctis ashamed for being figured out.
Noctis was felt victorious while Ignis looked at me and said "Oh don't worry Light-san. I will take good care of him. You can always depend on me." while trying to rearrange his glasses, Noctis looked at me, flattering and replied "Yeah right dude. I will take good care of you. One thing for sure Lightning you can't depend on me right?!" he winked back at me and tapping on Ignis's shoulder again.
"Huh … I leave you both now. I have some work to do." I said as I turned my back and went on crossing the hallway preparing myself for a huge talk with the boss. Whatever this dream I dreamt this morning, it surely has to mean something. I don't usually dream such dreams unless it has something to do with my past perhaps?! I don't know...for now I need to focus on the upcoming mission.
Yet still am not sure, not to mention I feel rather odd about the upcoming mission and something is about to happen for sure, but through my senses am not sure what it is.
"So... for how long have you been in Love with Lightning?!" asked Noctis as I couldn't hear them anymore when I reached the door. I knocked then went inside as I heard a voice that told me to come in. The room was emitting light only from the windows on the left. On the right was a huge black screen where all plans and missions were planned out for each Soldier and co-worker in the headquarters. And affront of me was sitting the general behind a dark desk with black office materials and white documents laying on it. Plus in front of the desk where two navy-blue small couches that seemed always comfy to sit on.
"Good Morning to you Lieutenant Farron! You may take a seat in front of me please." said the general calmly without looking at me and staring down at his desk. He was checking on some strange documents before him. So I bowed for respect then took a seat on the small left cough and positioning myself upright to face the consequences of being late.
"Good Morning General Raines. I apologize for being late. It was …" I said before I got interrupted by the general who started writing something very important after finishing his fast readings.
"No need to explain Lieutenant Farron, I completely understand. I already know everything from Soldier Markius Ferris. He told me about your guest and we will see through his intentions and abilities whether he deserves a place here or ... NOT. As for the record I already know that he is the son of King Regis Lucius Caelum, identified by the marks on his body that has been shown recently through the scanner." he kept on while I was nervous for being found out. "But don't you worry, it won't be a problem for me as long as he keeps his identity a secret. If he exposed himself, he will be returned by force to his rightful place. Am I Clear?!" said the general after signing on the edge of the paper then giving me a serious look.
"Yes Sir. Very Clear." I replied as I swallow for the hard words that somehow slapped my face.
"Very good." said the general smiling then looking at me with worried eyes.
"Are you feeling alright today Lieutenant Farron?!" he asked when I was feeling in such a deep mess.
"Am fine Sir, It's just … It's been a messed up morning, that's all." I replied while looking down at my hands shivering without knowing the reason why it's shivering all of the sudden. Something is not right...
"Alright, don't you worry about it. Now … for your today's mission I have prepared something for you. I need you to go to The Archylte Steppe passing through the woods then going North-east side coast to find the Sulyya Springs. There I want you to find anything strange you can pick up from there. I will keep you updated with more info when you're there on your Cell. Are you prepared?!" he asked with crossed fingers on the desk and looking at me waiting for a firm answer.
"Yes Sire." I replied with confidence. I trust the general, he has helped me ever since my parents died and ensured the survival of me and Serah. He provided us shelter, food, and education. He even offered me a place here as soon as I graduated. I am forever thankful for his kind moderate moral actions.
"As for your guest...he won't be coming along with the mission...you will go there alone and investigate the suspicious signals we got from there." he said firmly again reassuring the orders I have to follow.
"Lieutenant Farron...Listen to me...I know the Lucius Family more than anyone else when they wanted to co-operate with us back in 1999. And I can tell you one piece of advice for you...keep away from Prince Noctis." he said with a furious tone this time and a scary look of his.
"May I ask why Sir?" I asked trying to find confidence in my choice for befriending Noctis and the feelings I am having for him.
"All I can tell you is that those people don't care about us nor what happens to us...They cannot be trusted for their bad intentions throughout the years they have shown. No one is grateful for being ruled under them...Which is why the society can still live in peace because we exist. As long as we exist we can determine and provide a better future for them even when the Lucius family is placed as Rulers of the Kingdom but it doesn't not give them the full authority to do what they want. The Kingdom is safe as long as we have the Royal Family under our control. And that doesn't exclude Noctis... We don't know why he escaped and why he is here...Which is why I am putting him under strict surveillance. Understood Lieutenant Farron?" he said furiously.
"Yes Sir. Understood. I will prepare myself and go ahead for my mission." I said firmly without showing the sadness of my emotions that just got distrusted for letting it fall out of control without keeping Noctis's true identity and intentions in mind. I have a Sister and a life that I have to protect. I will not allow anyone hurt us nor betray us. The General is right...I have to be more careful for now on around Noctis.
"Keep me updated if anything happens along the way. Take ten security force men with you but keep them in the airship...when something happens call for them immediately to help you. Alright? and after you leave the room... send Prince Noctis to me...I will have a serious talk with him."
"Yes Sir. I Will." I bowed respectfully to the General and left the room with firm steps along the way.
As I went outside and closed the door behind me, I found noctis leaning on the wall on my left.. waiting for me so it seems.
"So how did it go?" he asked with a smirky smile on his face.
"It doesn't concern you. I will be heading to my mission now. As for you... you are asked to go inside. The General wants to speak with you." I said with a cold face while he looked at me with disbelieve.
"What did he tell you to be so cold to me all of the sudden?" he asked with concern.
"I said it doesn't concern you. Now go inside." I said and started walking away when Noctis took a hold on my wrist and tried to pull me back to talk to him.
"WHAT DID HE TELL YOU?" he yelled furiously when two soldiers grabbed him and took him to the General's Office by force.
I don't know his intentions and I don't know who he really is... All I know is that I don't want to put what's dear to me on risk. Yet his voice and what he told me a little of himself didn't make me feel as if he was a bad guy...only that he is a flirty bad ass son of a bitch when it comes to Women. But so are all men actually, yet it doesn't make him a bad guy. I have to look into the history of the Lucius Family.
"Light-san...Is everything alright? You look worried." asked Ignis beside me while not noticing that he stood there long enough when I was deeply lost into my own thoughts.
"No...Ignis, everything is fine. Please prepare ten soldiers of security forces for my mission. I will be heading soon to Sulyya Springs." I said with confidence in my voice again.
"Yes Lieutenant Farron..Right Away." said Ignis with a bow towards me and left immediately. As for me, I headed to our Library's keeper of all sorts of information this Kingdom beholds. I took the Elevator and went to the 10th floor where the biggest Library in the Kingdom can be found. There I found Talcott and his Grandfather Jared ,keepers of valuable information that lies around here, sitting against the desk arranging some files.
I approached them and said "Good Morning you two...how are you today?" They looked at me with a motivating smile on their face.
"Good morning Lieutenant Farron... We are doing quite well. We found some astonishing old files trying to arrange them and find a place to preserve them in here. How are you?" asked Grandfather Jared.
"I am doing alright. Listen I am in a hurry. I am heading to my new mission soon. But before I do...Is there any information we hold regarding to the Lucius Family?" I asked with concern. Grandfather Jared looked at me with suspicious eyes wondering perhaps why I am asking about them.
"As far as we know we have records of them as a family tree and their ruling lives they led. Right Grandpa?" said Talcott while looking curiously at Grandfather Jared.
"Did something happen recently to you my dear ?" he asked me.
"No... but I am curious at the moment as to what kind of people they are behind the castle walls. If you know what I mean." I replayed.
"Well sweety like Talcott said, all we know is their ruling times they have spend. But what happens behind the castle walls still remains a mystery to us up to this day because they are not co-operating with us nor with anyone but themselves. But I do remember that the latest Son Noctis that has been born back in 1990 was never revealed of how he looks like up to this day for unknown reasons. Some wonder how the child was born due to never revealing that the King got married at all. Those people kinda loved to live in the dark sweetheart and kept certain information be left out to the world. They are kinda of people that makes us suspicious to who they really are. The funny fact is that we don't even have a history of how they began to rule the Kingdom and giving a rise to its name 'The Lucius Kingdom'." said Jared while I looked in wonder of how they are pretty much unknown to us.
"Woow okayyy...so we have no information about who they truly are and where they come from. That is pretty curious. I wouldn't wonder why they aren't working with us." I commented and tried to think about something else. Suddenly the Dragon dream came to my thoughts again and I asked "Okay...uhh-hmm...do we have any records regarding to Dragon species?"
Jared replied "Ohh Yes we do! follow me my dear." and I went with Jared to shelf number 15 and asked curiously when I read the sign written on it 'The Extinct Species' "Are Dragon extinct Jared?"
"Unfortunately Yes.. The last one was seen 100 years ago...some say they went back into hiding and then only their Skeleton was found. Up until now we haven't captured one since." replayed Jared.
"Did something happen to them?" I asked curiously again.
"We don't really know...I guess they were in danger if they got extinct. Every animal fights for Survival. But when Survival hits a wall where it can't anymore..it turns into dust like a page in history. It's the cycle of life at the end of the day Sweetheart." said Jared while patting on my shoulder with comfort.
"Yeah you're right." I commented without telling really that I feel like there are Gaps in between the lines for the information I have been looking for... None of it makes sense... Why were the dragons Species in danger if they were and why were they extinct? and Why the hell do we know nothing the Lucius Family? its making me to question everything I know right now and why I had that dream about that Dragon. Because if I felt like I knew him my entire life then I must have met a dragon in my life at some point. I asked Jared to show me all the kinds of Dragons we found, but none of them looked like the one in my dream. Very Strange... I check my watch and saw that it was almost time for my mission and it was time to leave my concerns for another time.
"Ohh Am running Late... I gotta go Jared. Thank you for your Help." I said and left immediately.
"You're welcome sweetheart. Be careful." He said loudly while I was running out of the huge Library.
I ran to the Elevator and went to the 1st floor where I found my Team ready to leave beside Ignis.
"Ignis...as usual you do a wonderful job. Thank you." I said to Ignis then "People we are leaving now." I said to the 10 Security Forces and going to our Airport for Airships and Planes across the hall and preparing to take our leave with the Plane Nr. 21 to the Sulyya Springs. And all I could think about was Noctis.
