Chapter 1
After the defeat of Omega Shenron, Goku had tagged along with Shenlong. Once again leaving her behind. Sigh. It always came to this. The city around her was in complete shambles and Goku takes off on a dragon's back. Chi Chi yelled after him asking if he would be home for dinner, but it fell on deaf ears. She swore Goku's antics were even worse now that he was a child again. But who was she kidding? She loved him still. Even after all the times he left her to train, she couldn't bring herself to not love him. A smile tugged on the corner of her lips. She looked towards the sky, the sun shining more brightly than she remembered, sky a crystal blue. The wind gently caressed the loose strands of hair away from her face.
Her eyelids fell shut. The sun illuminating her porcelain skin.
The world was finally at peace again.
And for once, Chi Chi wasn't going to question Goku.
Somewhere in the distance…
A hooded figure cloaked by the shadows of the destroyed watched with slanted red eyes as Goku ascended the sky atop of Shenlong's back. His toothy smile pale against the darkness around.
"Soon, we shall meet. This I promise, Son Goku."
Beneath him, glass orbs with fiery red stars could be seen glowing. He chuckled darkly. His red eyes lazily roved the orbs with quiet fascination twinkling in his eye. He smiled widely. These orbs will finally bring Son Goku to his knees.
