As a boy Akuma no neko, was always looked down upon, for his white hair and his mix-matched eyes, and when he gets the chance to be a Pokémon ranger he takes it. After writing several letters he is sent a parcel and a letter of invitation to join the ranger union. After writing a reply letter he sets off to the location of his first test, Ringtown. But he is about to unravel the largest mystery he will ever discover.
"Why do you have to go again?" Rose said as she was laying over the back side of the couch.
"So I can finally do what I want and not be looked down on, that's why." Neko said dragging his suit case across the floor towards the door.
"I thought you weren't leaving till your mom got off work"
"I was, but she said she didn't get off till late and if I miss the ferry I won't be recruited"
"But wouldn't your mom be kind of sad knowing that her son left without saying good bye?"
"I guess your ri-"suddenly the door swings open and standing there was his mom worn out but she was there
"Uhh mom how did you get here?" he asked
"Why I ran here my son" says Mrs. Neko (oblivious to the fact she left in the middle of work and ran 5 miles up a hill)
"Uhh never mind that now you're here so now you can see me off"
So as they walked to the docks to catch the ferry rose had remembered that she wanted to tell him something but couldn't work up the nerve to tell him. But she knows she may never see him again.
"Ah I can see the boat come on guys hurry up" as he stated running towards the boat, Shanna looks over to rose
"You need to tell him before it's too late you know or else he may never know how you feel" Rose starts to blush as she looks up at Neko and starts admiring his hair.
"Hey what are you guy waiting for the boats going to leave soon" just then Neko notices that rose is crying
"Hey what are you crying for, its not like I'm no comi—"just before he finished rose leans into a kiss so he couldn't finish his sentence.
"Please come back and see us sometime will you" she says as she is embarrassed as heck she always liked him but not this much.
"Uh sure, I will, see you guys later" but before he got on the boat his mom handed him a box that was kind of heavy.
"um mom what is this?"
"You'll see soon enough tee hee."
