Chapter 1
"C'mon, everybody knows that you have a crush on him." said Becca.
"I don't have a crush on him." I said. "He's my best friend not my crush."
Becca laughed.
"Yeah right, you know you like him." She said, elbowing me in my side and smiling at me and raising her eyebrows up and down. I seriously do not like him. He is my best friend and that is it, but before I could tell her that Melia joined us.
"Hey guys. Sup?" she said.
"Oh, Nikki was just about to tell us that she is madly in love with Kyo." said Becca.
"No, I'm not!" I cried.
"Well, everybody thinks you do, but Kyo is clueless." said Melia.
"Hey I'm here you know." I said but they ignored me.
"Oooo! You know we can tell him." said Becca.
"Don't do that. Please don't." I pleaded. But they didn't hear me or it seemed not to.
"Oooo! That's a good idea.Let's do it." said Melia. I stopped.
"Hey stop ignoring me!" I yelled at them. They just kept on walking making their plans.
"Hey!" I yelled, but they just kept on walking.
"Why are you yelling?" I turned around to see Kyo. I laughed nervously.
"It's nothing." I said, smiling at him nervously. He made a face.
"Why are you acting so weird?" He asked.
"I'm not acting weird." I said a smiled. He was looking at me waiting for me to tell him something else that would explain me acting weird. But I can't tell him that Melia and Becca thought that I liked him. And I don't like him and since he was my best friend I should tell him all about it but that would mess things up.
"Go to go. Bye." I said and turned around and ran. I didn't hear any foot steps running behind me. Yes! He wasn't following me. People stared as I passed. I started saying the words for the spell to transport me to my dorm, when I heard footsteps behind me. Oh no! He's chasing me. I was only two words away from finishing the spell so I said them a disappeared.
