She wondered if they would remember her, her best friends, her family.
She'd been gone for so long
She wasn't really sure where she'd been or why she'd been there
She didn't know why she was back here now
She didn't understand
She could remember that everything was fine until the explosion
After that there was only heat, pain and screaming for a long time
She'd fallen so far, and then everything had gone dark
The pain was gone
Her head had stopped hurting
Nothing mattered
She was floating, or was she still falling
She just couldn't understand
She'd been watching them for a few days since she'd been sent back from wherever
She'd been trying to decide what to do
They thought she was dead
She couldn't just walk up and say hi like she'd always been there
But that was what she was going to have to do
Even if it scared them at least she'd be home
That was all she wanted. To go home
As she walked to the mountain range that was their hidden home she was full of fear,
Sadness, excitement and a million other emotions
She'd been away for so long
She wondered if they had cried for her like she had cried for them
She wondered if they had missed because she had missed them
