Surprise!

The candy colored filly with a curly pink mane and tail yawned as she woke up from a deep slumber. She was considerately scared. Pinkie Pie dreamt of a copy of her from another world, stealing her job, her friends, her life. The horse that was once exstatic about going out and turning life into a game now felt the need to stay home forever.

After all, you can't steal somepony's life... If they don't have one, can you?

Pinkie Pie felt a chill run down her spine, as her mane and tail turned bone straight. No one was going to find her. No one. She slowly walked over to her bed, her irises shrinked. If somepony was to walk into the room at that moment, (which they can't; the door was locked) they would be severely worried about Pinkie's health. The pink equine was breathing in short pants extremely fast, as if somepony was chasing her. She had a big grin on her face, exposing her perfect teeth. Her eyes were like tiny black dots, in the center of an eye so bloodshot, you could barely call it white. She stepped onto her flamboyant pink bed. The earth pony then slammed her head onto the wall, trying to knock herself out. She eventually did, and the last thing she saw was a blood spatter against the magenta drywall.

Surprise, Pinkie Pie! It's me... SURPRISE! Silly filly, can't you tell? That's my name! Surprise! And I'm going to stick with you... FOREVER! Heehee, won't that be a blast? I can't wait!

"No... No..."

Yep! I'm so excited! I want to meet your friends. Oops! I meant MY friends! Because I'm you! Well, not completely. But you're a clone of me! I'm the original! It's too bad that no one remembers me anymore. But they will!

"Surprise... who are you?"

I'm you, silly filly! I thought we got that by now!

"Prove it."

Fine then.

Pinkie was shot awake. She could see, but she couldn't control her body. She quickly glanced at the mirror. She was different. Instead of her usual pink color, she had a snow white pelt, with curly blond hair. She also grew a pair of wings. However, her cutie mark was the same as before.

"This what you wanted, Pinkie Pie? You did this to yourself, I didn't do anything."

I...

Now their roles were switched; Surprise was in charge now, and Pinkie was just a voice in her head.
