Dark Hedgehog
(A Sonic/Batman Beyond Crossover)
(Author's notes: I don't own any characters in this story.)
One day in Gotham City....
"Come on Knuckles, Gotham hired us to find toxic waste, not work as slow as possible"
"Well, gee Sonic. I don't see you digging with me."
Knuckles continued to dig for any sort of toxic barrel for a while. Soon, without realizing it, they were under some sort of mansion.
"Geeze, Knux. It seems we dug ourselves an underground tunnel here," Sonic said.
"Forget that. Look at this stuff." Knuckles had a look of confusion and horror on his face. It seemed that they were in an underground museum of the greatest villainery combined with a laboratory. (A/N: Gueeeesssss where!!!) "Do you think we're..." He couldn't finish the sentence.
POV change: Terry's
Terry had arrived back to the Batcave. He was dead beat. Busting four crimes on a Monday was not a way to start a week.
"I'm back, Wayne. Man am I tired."
"Long day?"
"Four crimes, two of them had weapons."
"Ouch. You should head home immediately. Your mother-someone's here." Terry had just started taking off his mask when he heard Bruce say that.
"What the heck do you mean? I can't see anything."
"You're forgetting who I was. I know these things. There!!" He pointed to the hole that Knuckles made.
"Gotcha. I'm on it." Terry, or rather, Batman dashed to the hole.
POV Change: All
"Oh man, he's on our tails!!" Sonic was fast, but he couldn't keep up with Batman's jet boots.
"Quick, run through the forest!" Knuckles made a mad dash, hoping to lose Batman.
"Hmm. They're gonna have to try harder if they want to lose me." Batman switched on his heat-seeking vision, and looked around. "Aha!" He made a tackling dive to Sonic. After tying him up, he went for Knuckles. It was easier to catch him, since Knuckles isn't as fast as Sonic. After that, he brought both of them to the Batcave. Sonic and Knuckles could only think of what was going to happen.
