Another super short one-shot that I found in an old notebook. This one is from the first VA book. I like Christian in this because I made him kind of an ass but also shows his soft side towards others. Hope you like!
Christian's POV
God, Rose was such a bitch! Everyone knew that but they also knew that she was one of the best Guardian's to-be. Which was why I was uneasy about telling her what I had just heard, even though I knew she needed to hear it.
All day I had been hearing rumours about her. Funny how you can hear a lot of the gossip in the school when barely anyone acknowledges your existence. All of the rumours were all claiming that Rose had let Jesse Zeklos drink her blood and have sex with her. Even I couldn't believe that Rose would do such a thing. Sure, rose was a hothead and was proud of her body, but she definitely was not a slut.
I watched Rose and Lissa enter the room and immediately make a beeline for my seat. I told them all about what I'd heard and watched Rose's face carefully. Her expression changed for a few moments, oscillating between confusion, pain and fury, before it hardened with a look of angered determination.
She stormed over to Ralph and Zeklos, both of whom had been talking while sneaking glances at Rose. I hoped that she would punch them, it would be hilarious, but I knew she couldn't. Not without getting expelled anyway.
Even though Rose annoyed the hell out of me, I felt bad for her. She had been labelled as the worst thing a dhampir girl could be and I knew that inside her heart she was hurting over it. And honestly, I wasn't sure that that was something even Rose Hathaway could handle.
