In an Ordinary Fairytale Land There Is a Promise of a Perfect Happy End and I Imagine That Having Just Short of That Is Better Than Nothing.

Pale arms, wrapped around his shoulders as he sat. He tried not to jump, in his shock as he felt wispy, pale-blonde hair fall over his shoulder as he turned to look into grey-blue eyes and a smiling face.

He'd never get used to that... her smile, her warmth; her mere presence, really. Or that she chose to remain at his side.

Turning in the stood he sat at the kitchen island, he wrapped his arms around her middle and buried his face in the crook of her neck, inhaling her fresh-pine scent. Luna always smelled like the forest, he thought fondly as he sighed contentedly.

He never thought he'd be that either, content. Much less happy. But she made him so.

Fin
