No! There are more, freaky scar faced freaks after me! Seriously, Alek told me there would be more following me, waiting to attack me. It was already awkward enough that he had to follow me around. Although, I had to admit, it was cool knowing that a cute guy like Alek was following me around. I had a little crush on him, even though I was kind of in an on-off relationship with Brian; it was hard to see him.
Later that day I met up with Paul and Amy. "Hey guys, I have a something to tell you" I said all worried. "What? Tell me NOW." Paul said with so much excitement it could make the whole restaurant happy. "Just tell us" Amy said annoyed with her boyfriend. "I might be in love with Alek" I said quickly. "What?" an annoying sound came from behind me. "Um, who's behind me?" "Brian" Amy and Paul said together. "So, you don't like me anymore?" "No! I do Brian I-""Just leave me alone." I was about to cry. I stood up and Amy and Paul hugged me. "It's going to be ok, your sidekicks here." I gave him an annoyed look and he let go of my waist. I ran all the way home. "We'll visit her tonight." I heard Amy say.
Good thing mom wasn't home. I would have been tortured into telling her what was going on. "Chloe King! Open this door!" An accent? Wonderful, it was Alek. "What do you want? And who let you in?" "I'm a Mai, I have my ways." "I unlocked the door and laid back on the bed. "What do you want Alek? I'm not in the mood." He walked in and said, "I saw Brian today. He looked upset. You wanna spill?" I didn't want to but the words came right out. "I-I told him I might be in love with someone else." "And who is it?" "Uh, it's you." I said it and ran downstairs. He ran down and sat beside me. He said with complete confidence, "That's what I thought. Because I might be in love with you."
