House and Cameron bump into each other in the corridor. Cameron has just returned from the lab and House was off to the cafeteria to steal some lunch from Wilson once again. They eye each other up suspiciously.
House looks Cameron up and down.
House: I know I'm irresistible, but wash your hands before touching the equipment.
Cameron looks bewildered. She has no idea what House is on about. She looks down and notices her hand has, at some point, hit House in the nether regions as they bumped into each other. She looks up at him sheepishly.
Cameron: Sorry House. Ummm...
House looks down at her and pulls a "you knew what you were doing" smirk.
House: You want me. You know you want me. The sad thing is you can't have me.
House walks away from Cameron, leaving her shocked and confused. She looks back at him and sees him looking back at her. There is a moment of tension in between them before House stalks off around the corner.
Cameron looks at the hand that did the deed. She turns it over and over as if it was now a rare and powerful object. It tingles as she recalls the incident and her heart flutters a little. If she wasn't a doctor she might have vowed never to wash it again. Slowly she places her now "magical" hand into the pocket of her lab coat and heads down to the office. She regains her composure. There is no way she wants the other ducklings to know.
Chase has coffee made for himself and Cameron as she enters the room. He hands hers to her and she gives him the "hairy eye".
Chase: What's wrong with you?
Cameron: You've been telling me you love me for months now and you still don't get the message. I don't want your crap coffee!
Chase looks confused.
Chase: Coffee? I thought...
Cameron: I don't want you to love me either okay? It's gotten too complicated.
Chase: It hasn't. It's because you're in love with House and you're too ashamed to admit it.
House appears in the room seemingly out of nowhere with a lettuce leaf hanging from his mouth. He gnaws at it comically.
House: Did I hear my name?
Chase and Cameron look at him open mouthed. Cuddy appears.
Cuddy: House and Cameron you've got clinic duty. I told you this yesterday. And get that out of your mouth!
Cuddy glares at House, who twitches his nose and pulls the lettuce leaf out with his "paws"...
