The Meeting:

"Are you kidding me?" A young Daisuke stood mouth gape at the little girl standing in front of him. The girl was tiny for an eight year old and still had an innocent face considering her new job position. "No Haruhi! You better be playing a sick joke! This-this little THING is not an ANBU. And so she is NOT on out team. No. Nope." He crossed his arms and plopped down onto the dirt. Haruhi just sighed and begun to explain how the girl displayed extraordinary talent and had immense power. All the while the little girl just stood there looking up at the clouds, obviously not caring at all about the situation. "Daisuke get over it. Hikari is now a part of our team. She's only two years younger than us so they put her here. Okay? Now can we please move on to training?" At the word training the girl turned to Harhui and in one swift motion of her little hand, knocked her back into a tree. Hitting with a thud Haruhi stood up swaying a bit. "N-nice hit. See Daisuke she is strong. Now stop pouting and train!" With a grunt he stood up and charged at the girl. Blow after blow the two fought for a good three hours. Finally both too exhausted to continue collapsed under a shady tree. "Ok so you were right. She's good. Here that your good missy." Haruhi displayed a satisfied grin and sat down between the two children. Hikari stood up and looked down at her two teammates. "I hope we can be friends! Lets work hard a-and…not get killed?" The two on the ground just looked at each other. Daisuke put his hand over his face to cover his smirk but lost it when Hikari began talking to herself. Haruhi began to yell at the both of them. With in a few minuets Haruhi had controlled the situation; Both Hikari and Daisuke were asleep under the trees cool shade. The wind blew softly carrying the sent of flowers. Haruhi brushed the hair off Hikari's face. She layed down and drifted into a quiet sleep. Little Hikari turned over smiling and whispered something she had always longed to have. "Friends…"
