The A Team
There was once a girl around the age 16. Her life was in and out of bad times. She loved only a few of her friends. One summer her life dramatically changed. It didn't seem boring anymore. She was actually getting a social life.
She finally felt accepted. She started to enjoy life. Everybody seemed to like her and talk to her. She did not feel stereotyped.
She felt like her life mattered. But in school things were entirely different. She was always happy, and she got very good grades. She always wanted to show people that there was more to her so people would talk to her. But when school came, things didn't change.
She lives by the rules "never settle for less", "make a difference", and "question authority". Unfortunately these have been putting a great stress on her at home. Her mom did not seem to get that she had low confidence.
Inside she has great confidence to stand up for a friend, herself, or even against her parents. Her life was turning into a bright dream. At first she was happy because of all her new friends. But she made a big mistake that she felt had changed people from liking her to thinking she was weird. She told one person what she thought and felt deep inside. This was really embarrassing to her. So she turned back into the weird girl. She would always regret that time.
