"Disgusting"
"I won't come back, Severus," Remus said.
The black eyes glittered with pure hatred.
"You're leaving me for…Tonks?" Severus managed to spit out.
"Yes," Remus simply admitted.
"She only sees your tattered cardigans and believes you're a nice, amiable wizard, but she never…"
"She loves me, Severus," Remus cut him of softly. "You never loved me. You only love the wolf. And that disgusts me." He left without another word.
"I only loved the wolf because I thought that would make you fall for me," Severus whispered to an empty room.
An hour later, Severus finally agreed to Dumbledore's plan.
