Yellow

"Yellow represents many things." Character study.

(Sun)

The warmth of the sun on his face as he runs through a grassy meadow. His ears fly behind him. He is young, ignorant of the darkness of the world, he is carefree. Eventually he has reached his destination, a large oak tree. He gets comfortable in the shade, the leaves not allowing the sun to filter through.

His parents reach the tree shortly after he has, and sit down next to him, setting down the picnic basket. ((And everything is perfect.))

(Mourning)

Later on they are buried under that tree. And he is all alone. His blue eyes sting with tears ((isn't ten too old to cry?)). It is unfair, but so is the world. His father's words echo in his head: "It may seem like the whole world is against you. You may be standing alone. But you're standing for something, so there must be something worth fighting for." He doesn't know what that something is, but he intends to find it ((although the path will not be easy.))

(Hope)

He looks at the blonde woman warily as he lowers his sword. "Ya came looking fer me?"

The woman -who says her name is Zadavia- goes on to explain how others had been effected by the meteor, and that he would be welcome to join them. As he follows her, he has hope (( for the first time in a long time)).

(Courage)

He sqaures his shoulders as he raises his sword to defend himself. There is a clang as his opponent's weapon meets his own. He sees his teammates dart along the wall, to where they will reach the control room to fly the ship into a meteor to destory it, all of them leaving right before hand. He told them to go on; he will hold the monsters off by himself. And although he didn't show it, he was scared that something might go wrong ((but courage is doing something in spite of fear, not in abscense of it)).

(Friendship)

He never had many friends. Who wanted to be friends with a street rat ((a worthless, scrawny little kid and a troublesome teenager?)) But now, he finds himself with five best friends, one of whom is his girlfriend.

"What?" Lexi questions as he chuckles at Tech shutting Rev's beak to stop him from rambling and Duck and Slam bickering about something. He simply smiles at her.

"It's just good to be here." ((And finally, he has found that something.))

(Heaven)

Funnily enough, he is the last one of his teammates -family- to arrrive. All of them had achieved a ripe old age, Lexi beating him to the golden gates only a few months before. He sees them waiting for him as he walks over. They are all in their ages when they were on the Loonatics, because despite the worry, fights and tears, there was twice as much laughter, grins and tears from happiness.

And when he goes through the gates, he is back in that meadow with the shining sun, underneath the tree with his parents, but now accompanied by his other family -even if it isn't by blood.

(y)

Yello represents many things; overcoming hardships, mourning, hope, the sun, heaven, friendship. The life of Ace Bunny has demonstrated all of these things. So it's no wonder why his uniform's accent is yellow.
