Sorry Jock fans, but this is my preferred Jo ship. Jock is my second-favourite Jo ship though!
I don't own Total Drama.
She looked in the mirror and tried a smile. Sighing, she let the smile fade. Instead, she ran her fingers through her blonde hair, poofing it up a bit. She lowered her chin and batted her eyelashes.
"This is stupid. I look like an idiot." Jo muttered to herself.
With a sigh, she frowned at herself in the bathroom mirror and shook her head, the volume added from poofing her hair vanishing almost instantly. She bit her lip and attempted a sideways "seductive" look at the mirror, but decided that it made her look even more stupid.
She turned around and leaned on the counter in the bathroom. She looked down at her chest. She wasn't exactly well endowed, but she wasn't flat-chested either. Her hips had that outwards curve that men were supposedly attracted to.
She was pretty, right?
But if that was true, then why did Lightning think she was a boy?
Being pretty wasn't important to her – she was so much more than a pretty face. But just because she knew she had other strengths, didn't mean she didn't feel insecure occasionally. But she'd never admit to such vulnerability.
"It doesn't matter. I don't care." she told herself, but as she turned around again, she couldn't meet her reflection's gaze. "It doesn't bother me if he thinks I'm a dude."
But it did bother her. A lot.
She just couldn't figure out why.
