This is my… seventh story on Fanfiction, although none of them are complete, so be nice with reviews, okay? And I've only been on the site for about 4½ months, so I'm not really good at writing fanfics yet, so have mercy!! This isn't gonna be a completed story- merely Jaken's P.O.V. of Rin and hunting down Naraku, with some add-ins by me. It's not going to be a one-shot, (if you want it to be a oneshot, say so) and I do not know exactly how I want the fanfic to be, so please review with comments and suggestions, arigato!

Oh ya- stars () are for flashbacks, Italics are for thoughts and emphasizing words (which are always quoted), and P.O.V. (in case you didn't know, that means Point Of View).

"Oh, why does Lord Sesshomaru bring that stupid human brat along? Oh, it was so quiet when it was just Lord Sesshomaru, me, and Ah-Un!" Jaken mumbled to himself as Lord Sesshomaru, Ah-Un, he, and Rin walked on a road to Mount Hakurei. One of Naraku's golems had appeared in the middle of a road they were crossing, and told them.

Flashback

"You wish to find my castle, do you not, Lord Sesshomaru?" The golem taunted, using addressing the Lord with formalities as a joke. Then wait for me at Mount Hakurei. There is a barrier surrounding it, so I suppose you can just wait outside it." It laughed.

Flashback End

Jaken's P.O.V.

Oh, Lord Sesshomaru must be SO upset that the STUPID puppet talked to him like that! Naraku must REALLY be careful now, because Lord Sesshomaru is going to tear him to pieces when they meet! Oh, I am glad I don't annoy Lord Sesshomaru like that… Speaking of annoying, what is doing, taking the brat along?! She is only a mortal…was it just because she was healed by Tenseiga? No way! I was healed before her! Oh, Lord Sesshomaru, what are you thinking? You always told me that we should hold no weaknesses, -- "and NOW look what you're doing with the mortal brat!" Oops.

I accidentally said the last part out loud. I got kicked in the head by Lord Sesshomaru. I sighed. For what reason must we keep her? Or can't Lord Sesshomaru at least make her shut up? And making me baby-sit her! Oh, how other demons would laugh! The noble retainer of Lord Sesshomaru, watching over a human!

"Master Jaken, let's play a game!" said the girl.

"No," I said to her.

"But Master Jaken!" she wailed. "I want to play a game!"

"Cease your insolent chatter!"

"Lord Sesshomaru, Master Jaken won't play with me!" she whined.

"Jaken." Lord Sesshomaru stated to me.

"Y-yes, milord?" I asked.

"Hissori."

(A/N: that means "quiet" in Japanese, according to this other fanfic…)

I stayed quiet.

"Rin, you too," he told the brat.

"Yes, Lord Sesshomaru!" said the girl, like a soldier.

We walked on in silence for about five minutes. We came across a river. It was then that the peaceful silence was broken.

"Lord Sesshomaru?" the child inquired.

"What is it, Rin?"

Oh, OH, he even gives her a title! Oh, what has the world come to? I croaked mentally. I sighed instead.

"Can we rest here?"

"Yes. Jaken, make a fire."

"Yes, milord!"

I finished the task within minutes.

I walked back to the river to find the little monster downriver with Ah-Un fishing, while Lord Sesshomaru hunted. I thought I sensed something, when I was suddenly plucked off the ground, and quite literally whisked away, with rather transparent silk covering my eyes from the sleeve of whoever decided to abduct me.
