I don't own ICarly.

A push. A pinch. He could understand what she was saying. Seddie

Pinch Me

Samantha Puckett wasn't one to flinch away from anything. She was ornery, always a fighter. She was the complete opposite of Fred Bensen. Freddie liked computers, nice girls, and nerd-stuff.

Not a girl like Sam, who liked to smash all of the above.

Yet he put up with her, he had to so he could be near his crush Carly and so he could help them on their web show. Now Carly was the ideal sort of girl. Soft, perky, sweet… the list could go on and on.

Yet his hope for something more between them began to fizzle out because of their troublemaking best friend. In fact, it was around the time of their first kiss with each other that thoughts about Carly had slowly started to become fantasies about Sam.

He didn't notice until Sam had admitted to him that she liked him. She kissed him and ran off, determined to forget all about it.

Freddie couldn't help but follow her after Carly's commands. He couldn't let anyone know that he secretly wanted to be with Sam. He'd save that for a surprise. Yet, Sam was stubborn and revealed that she didn't think he'd ever like her back so it didn't matter.

But it did matter, didn't it? Every time Sam pushed him or called him horrible names was a mass of insecurity and toughness like a brick wall surrounding her. She pinched him and fought with him about everything under the sun just because she could, just because that was who Sam was.

Sam hurt him. Every day… in some way or another. She was a fire meant to destroy everything around her and she embraced it fully.

Carly was the water that put out the flames and soothed the wounded.

What was he exactly? Earth? He did feel every pain and tried to reason every lunatic thought process in her head. Even his creative attempts were more of common sense than art of any kind. He could giggle at their craziness but never could touch the place that their ideas came from.

Where did that leave him with Sam? Fire and Earth weren't exactly agreeable with each other. One destroyed the other and the latter tried to heal itself only to go through the process all over again.

Could Fred heal from Sam's never ending torment?

Seeing the hopeless look in her eyes, he thought that he just might have what it takes to tame Sam. All he would need to do was contain it much like a fireplace or a fire pit.

So, full of hope, Freddie took the reins and kissed Sam Puckett.

He was determined not to let their feelings for each other to be ruined by Sam's destructive nature. He would make it work, even if he had to fight the whole world.

I sincerely love Seddie. And as a Seddie fan girl I am very upset that they broke up and have been for quite awhile. I don't like Carddie or Farly or whatever fans call CarlyFreddie, I really can't remember what it's called nor do I care. Oh, wait! It's Creddie! Either way, doesn't matter. Seddie all the way! Hope you enjoyed this one shot. I want to get into ICarly fan fictions because I love Seddie so please support me!
