L wanted nothing more then to hug Light right there and then. Light had brought in a chocolate cake and said it was for him. FOR HIM! It even had a strawberry on top. If Light was the only Kira suspect he would have ate it but since he is L thought he might have poisened it. Matsuda had yet again screwed up. L was getting tried of him so he ofter him some of the 'poisned cake'. Light frowned at that. Why did Light frown at? "Ryuuzaki don't you like it? You always eat cake so I thought you might like the chocolate cake I had my dad go and buy for you since you know..." Light jinggled the chain that connected them. Well since Light had told L that his dad bought it L took a piece of cake. Light smiled and went back to work. The cake was delishes. L smiled as he continue to eat and trying (ok more like forcing) Light to eat a piece. Light keep saying it's to sweet for him. After everyone left and there was only a slice of cake left that L was trying to feed to Light did Light take a bite. "See Light all you had to do was take a bite and I'd leave you alone for the rest of the night." L said as he took a bite. Light had a tinge of pink as he reached for the cake and whispored " I thought that cake was mine and you have chocolate on your chin." L indeed had chocolate on his chin which Light had licked off. L blushed at this when he did. Light taking this as a good sign kissed him lightly on the lips. L didn't know what he was feeling but he liked it. He kissed Light backed a bit harder. When they broke apart L was still blushing and Light. Light took L into his lap by pulling the chain and he whispored in L's ear " I really like you L and I want to be with you always. I love you." L smiled and replied " I love you too Light. I hope your not Kira." "You had to ruin the mood with that!" Light laughed. L smiled and kissed Light again. Light happily kissed him back. "Ryuuzaki,let's stop right now or you won't br going to work for a while." Light smirked. L's face turned crimson as he looked away. He saw the chocolate cake peice and said " That cake wasn't really what you wanted to give me after all. It was something more." Light looked at the peice and smiled. " Your right Ryuuzaki but I didn't think you'd want it so I thought what about cake instead. I always thought you wouldn't love me back because you thought I was Kira." Light exclaimed. L nodded his head. "Now Light I know what you say is true but you are my first friend so of course I'd feel strongly to you. You are my equal." L said with a light tone. "I feel the same Ryuuzaki. Thank You." Light whispored "Now if you are Kira then I will always keep my eye on you instead of killing you. Only a crazy man will kill the one he loves." L told Light with a smile. Light face flushed as he kissed L passiontly. The next day Light and L wasn't in the room and L had came out to tell them they could all go home. "Where's Light?" Soichiro asked. "Sleeping I thought he deserved something more this time around since he did give me a chocolate cake." L had explained. L smiled and went back to the sleeping Light.
