Peter Pan Poem
Hey, this is RawrDaLion, and this is my first and maybe only poem...
But I love Peter Pan, and I'm NOT childish! RAWR!
Year after year, tears start to fly
I start to yearn for the boy in the sky
Grow up I will, grow up I must
Wanting the boy with the fairy dust
Staring up at the second star on the right,
Hoping just once, he'll maybe take flight
Nightfall decends, I hop out of bed
Slowly to the window I tread
But if I look carefully, something seems out of place
A slight silhouette and an onlooking face
It glides ever closer, I lean out even more
Even closer the figure continues to soar
To my window he flies, a smile upon my cheeks
To my friends I may look like a freak
But they haven't met him, leave them I can
With the wonderous boy that is Peter Pan
