The Following Trailer Is Rated NM For No Mercy!
In a era when rebooting classic movies with all female casts is somehow considered fresh and original, one movie will attempt to breach alleged social boundaries and reach for the stars… only to fall flat on its ass.
Ghostbusters!
Prepare for the 2016 reboot that nobody in their right mind wanted, asked for, or was excited about, but got green lit anyway because of Hollywood politics, and watch a cast with infinitely less talent than the original struggle to live up to the standards of one of the most beloved cult classics of all time (Spoilers, they don't).
Scratch your head as Hollywood cements its serious dedication to female empowerment… by ignoring every A-list actress they have in favor of B-list bozos from SNL. I guess every actress with a lick of sense saw the handwriting on the wall and ran for the Beverly Hills.
Slog through a slough of unoriginal story telling, stale jokes, uninspired acting, and references to the original that do nothing but remind you how much better the original is.
Cringe as the original Ghostbusters cast that you know and love are lured in with the promise of a paycheck, to play embarrassing cameos that did nothing but piss off the fans. And just when you thought that they were done crapping on beloved icons, watch Chris Hemsworth, one of the most masculine figures in Hollywood, reduced to a skinny, awkward nerd that exists only to be abused by superior female characters. I can still hear Mjolnir weeping.
So prep for a film that managed to alienate every single demographic needed to make a Ghostbusters reboot successful, and flopped at the box office harder than a beached whale, ensuring that we can safely sweep this failure into the dustbin of history, where it will be lost to the sands of time.
