The first time Genevieve had seen Adolphus Parkinson, it had been forgettable. He was just another face in the crowd. He couldn't even remember when he'd first seen her.
The first time that she'd kissed him had been terrifying. She stood on her tiptoes, closed her eyes and prayed that her lips wouldn't hit his nose. The first time he kissed her was a little awkward; tongues feel weird until you get used to it.
The proposal was what they remembered. He'd told her to "look over there" and there were fairies spelling out "I love you". It was unforgettable.
