"Hey, did you know? They said that if you watch the sky while the sun is setting on the hill that's behind the school for 51 days straight, your love will be reciprocate."
'Oh right, this was the hill that mentioned in that rumor...', a high school student with white haired named Byakuran thought as he walk down a slope, taking a different path home from usual route.
On a whim, he walked towards a patch of the open field. He put down his bag and then sat down in a comfortable position with a leg propped up, watching as the sun slowly set.
As he was about to lie down on the grass instead to sitting up to look at the sky, he heard a familar voice calling his name.
"Byakuran?"
He tilted his head to the side and saw his old childhood friend, "Shouichi...?"
"What are you doing here?", his childhood friend with reddish-orange hair wearing the same uniform asked while taking off his headphone that he was wearing before.
"Hmm?" Byakuran hummed before answering with question, "Nothing much...you know about the rumor that's going around our school recently?"
"Rumor? There's a few in our school though.." Shouichi replied as he thought about it.
"It's the one about this hill. You know? The one about love coming true." Byakuran said as he turned back around and lied onto the ground.
"Oh, that one...Could it be that you're seeing if it will come true?" Shouichi asked again.
"Well, something like that, I guess.." Byakuran answered back nonchalantly as he continued to watch the sky. "Ah, is that so..?" he heard Shouichi mummer softly and saw from the corner of his eyes that Shouichi had looked up at the sky as well.
A/N: Hello readers! For those that have been following my stories, I'm sorry that I was away for so long. I'll admit that I wasn't quite writing the continuation of my other stories and that I have writer's block on those stories along with being very lazy. This story is something I suddenly thought of while listening to Gumi's song, [Childhood blues]. This is a preview of the story. It will probably be a short one and I'm not sure if I want to separate it into chapters so I'll replace it with the full version when I'm finished. (Although. I'm not sure how long it will take. As mentioned above, I'm lazy...) And again, I'm sorry to those that are following my other stories. (Btw, if you want, visit and vote on the poll that I will be putting up soon.)
Thanks to all readers!
