Author's note: I don't own Kingdom Hearts, but I wish I did :/

He walked off, the rain pouring and drenching him. It was freezing, but he didn't seek shelter. What he was seeking was a high ledge.

It had become too much. His sister Aqua would finally get what she wanted-to be an only child. Like anyone would care, he was just somebody in the backround, an extra, a nobody. He wiped his blue hair out of his eyes. After what seemed like countless minutes of walking, he finally came to the Station Plaza. The clock tower had a high enough ledge, it would be perfect. For him, maybe.

What he didn't know about was the emo girl following him. She was also like him, always in the back of everything, always nothing more than ''that girl''. What was he doing? She had no idea that Isa was planning on killing himself. That is, until she saw him trying to get to the top of the clock tower. She followed him up, careful not to be seen.

He got to the edge and looked down. It had to be enough to kill someone. He grinned in satisfaction, he was ready to say goodbye to life, this world, and the girl secretly watching him from behind. But he didn't know about that last one...

He took off his sweater, revealing a blue t-shirt that hugged his skinny form. His blue hair was a mess, surrounding his shoulders and clinging to his face. His yellow eyes looked out onto the horizon, where there was a very large, dark purple cloud threatening to make the storm even more severe. Well he wouldn't have to deal with that, at least.

He put one foot on the ledge and then the other. Before he couldn't do anyhting else, the girl whispered,

"No..." Isa turned around and locked eyes with a girl that was slightly shorter than him, with dark red hair, and light almond eyes. Eilene. She was staring at him, begging for him to stay with her eyes.

"Why did you follow me?" he asked. His voice was hoarse.

"Please, don't jump." she ignored his question.

"Why not?" he asked, and turned back around. However, he didn't move.

"Becasue I would miss you." she answered.

"W-what?" he thought no one cared. Stupid boy. He turned around again.

"I would miss you." she took a step toward him. He could now see light freckles covering her nose.

"Yea right." stupid and stubborn.

"It's true." she tried to convince him, and it started to work.

"Why would you care?" he tried to sound mad, but just sounded curious.

"Because we live in the same world. Both in the backround, just waiting for a way out..." she took another step forward, and stepped on the ledge with him. They were now both standing on the ledge, readying themselves to jump. However, Eilene looked more ready than him.

"Hey now wait a minute..." he put a hand on her arm, probably to keep her from jumping. She put one foot out...

"If I'm not going then you aren't either." he put his arms around her waist and pulled. They landed on their backs in the small standing space behind the ledge.

Standing up, they got ready to leave. However, the rain was really picking up. Before she knew it, she was trying to grip the ledge to even stand up right. Isa was stronger than her, so he tried to hold onto her, to keep her from falling, but he couldn't. The wind was like a hurricane, it picked them both up and threw them to the awaiting ground below...

One Week Later

Eilene woke up first. Naturally, no one was waiting by her side. However, there was a familiar boy in the bed next to her, with blue hair. She quickly remembered him as Isa, the boy she saved-and the boy that saved her. She smiled, for the first time in a long time, and fell back asleep.
