HOLY SHIT GUYS

Okay so i wrote this like three months ago and i just barely remembered it. Based off The Island song by Ashley Erikson/Adventure Time end theme. Its really cheesy but I'm not sorry at all

"Boo!" Amethyst jumps on Steven's bed where the boy is writing in a notebook.

"Ahh!" Steven jums, holding the notebook to his chest.

Laughing, Amethyst sits back. "Whatcha writing?"

"Oh, uh... Nothing."

"Lemme see!" Amethyst pries the notebook away from him. Steven reaches for it but Amethyst holds him back. "Aw! Who's this for?" Amethyst asks once she finishes reading the sloppy handwriting.

Steven grabs the notebook. "No one! Just... wanted to write I guess..." He says as a blush spreads across his cheeks.

"Oh my gosh! Is it for Connie?" Amethyst yells.

"No- Leave me alone!"

"I knew you liked her-" Amethyst stops when theres a knock at the door. She smirks. "Let me know how it goes." She wiggles her eyebrows before exiting to her room.

Steven runs down his stairs and opens the door. "Hey, Connie! You ready for the picnic?"

"Yeah, I brought us sandwiches."

"Great, I got the juice." Steven says shoving the notebook into his cheeseburger backpack. "I thought I could play you some songs too." He grabs his ukulele.

"Lets do it." Connie smiles as the two begin to walk up the hill by the light house.

Once there, they set out the things for the picnic. Steven takes out his notebook and tunes his uke. "Oh yeah!" Steven puts down his instrument and shuffles through his bag. "I brought you those chicken crackers you like!" He hands her the blue box.

"Sweet, I haven't had these in forever. Thanks!" She smiles.

They eat and talk about random things. Literally anything comes up. Then Steven pickups up his ukulele again. "Can I play you a song?" Connie nods, sipping from her juice box. He smiles before starting.

"Come along with me, to a town beside the sea. We can wander through the forest, and do so as we please. Come along with me, to a cliff under a tree. Where we'll gaze upon the water, as an everlasting dream..." Connie smiles at the song. "All of my affections, I give them all to you. Maybe by next summer, we wont have changed our tunes." Both of them are blushing and smiling. "'Cause we'll want to be in this town beside the sea. Making up new numbers, and living so merrily. All of my affections, I give them all to you. I'll be here for you always, and always be for you. Come along with me, to a town beside the sea. We can wander through the forest and do so as we please. Living so merrily." Steven finishes with a big blush.

"Did you write that?" Connie asks, putting down her juice.
"Yeah, I wrote it for you."

Connie smiles. "Thats so sweet."

Steven puts down his ukulele, almost shy. "Hey, Connie?"

"Hm?"

"Dont get mad at me for asking this but... Do you maybe wanna... be my... girlfriend?"

Connie's eyes go wide as her face bursts into an even darker blush. "Uhm... yeah.. Yes." She smiles.

"Yeah?" Steven smiles.

"Yeah." She smiles back.

"Great! Aw, thank you, Connie!" Steven smiles and laughs before he stands up. Connie stands also so Steven can hug her. "Don't worry, I'll be the best boyfriend ever!"

"I know you will!" Connie laughs as Steven spins her around happily.
