"Can I come in?" He knocked on her door.

She groaned. "Urgh fineeeeee" she curled up into a ball on her bed.

"You feeling ok?" She looked at him and then vomited into a bucket next to her bed. "I guess that proves you're not"

"Please just leave"

"I'm staying" he felt her forehead. "Yup, definitely staying"

"Yes because that totally seems like we're not dating. Way to hide it from our friends" she grabbed her stomach and winced. "Damn fish. I knew the twins caught those fish without checking if the water was contaminated"

"Is that you're way of telling me to leave and not trust the twins. I'll listen to the second one but I'm staying"

"Fine... Thanks Hiccup" she gave him a sincere 'I love you' look. He leaned in to kiss her. "No" she put her hand up to his face. "I don't want you getting sick too"

"Yeah like that's gonna stop me" he chuckled. She smiled and let him kiss her. "Ok I'm going to make mutton soup. You better not lock me out"

"I'm thinking about it!" She yelled as he left the room.

"Oh you stupid stupid boy" Astrid laughed and leant against the building. They were standing outside and Hiccup was vomiting into a bucket.

Snotlout and the twins walked by. "Hey how'd Hiccup get sick? He didn't even eat the fish. And I didn't even see him leave his house when we were all sick. That could be because I was inside all the time. Which was the perfect time to sneak out" he got up close to Hiccups face. "Huh?!" Hiccup vomited a bit on his face. "Ew! Gross!"

"Oh hey" Ruffnut said. "Remember that time Dad was like sooooo sick and mum kissed him without knowing and like a week later she got sick too?"

"Oh yeah I remember that. That was hilarious" Tuffnut replied. Astrid's face went red and Hiccup managed to get out a few words without vomiting.

"What on earth is that supposed to mean?" He choked on his own vomit.

"It means... have you kissed or eaten food off of Astrid's plate. Those are the only two reasons you could have the same sickness as us because none of us have even seen you for the past few days because we were all sick in the same hut. Except for Astrid" Tuffnut explained.

"When did you suddenly become a detective?" Astrid scoffed.

"Just answer the question!" Ruffnut pushed. "Also I'm like REALLY good at detecting lies sooo. Don't lie around me"

"Oh my this is going to take a while" Snotlout sat down on a chair. "I could fly back to Berk in this time" (they're on the edge)

"I-I uh" Hiccup stuttered. "Well you kno-"

"Hiccup and I are dating!"

"What!?" Snotlout fell off of his chair. "When?"

"We've been dating for 8 weeks"

"Astrid!"

"Sorry hiccup" she walked over to him. "They had to know. He kissed me when I was sick"

"I guess. Yes we're dating"

"Well I give you my approval. As a Thorston it is only right I give you this approval" Tuffnut said.

"Didn't think we needed it but... thanks" Hiccup replied.

"Hey what's going on?" Fishlegs walked into their conversation.

"Can you believe it!" Snotlout yelled. "Hiccup and Astrid are dating!"

"I mean duh" he said. "It's pretty obvious they like each other"

"Well..." Ruffnut kicked a rock and chuckled. "Oh I can't help myself" They all ran and hugged Hiccup and Astrid. "We're so proud of you two"
