It had been going on like this for a while. Jaden was describing yet another of his 'amazing' dates with an academy girl. I haven't even heard of this one! Is this the third or fourth this month, I've lost count. Each time he goes out, I feel my heart break a little…
'No! Don't think like that!' I tell myself. It's wrong for me to feel like this. But as hard as I try to push my feelings away I always find I never can. Ahh he looks so cute sitting there right now. His hair gently moving from the breeze coming through the ajar window and his sexy chocolate coloured eyes shining with undying happiness. I wish I could feel that happy, but it's hard to smile when you slowly see the one you love being taken by other people.
'Stop that right now Jesse Anderson!' I mentally slap myself for being so stupid. I don't love him. Just because I find him attractive and I can't stop staring deep into his beautiful eyes and I feel alone and sad without him doesn't mean I love him. Does it?

I can't believe they're actually buying it! I mean just look at Syrus's little face beaming up at me begging me to continue and Jesse staring intently at me, lost in what I was saying. I've always been good at lying, but never this good! I know it's wrong to lie to my best friends but that can't be helped. They can never know the truth…
