"And so," Dumbledore announced. "the Marauders can do no more pranks."
Lupin jumped up, and yelled, "Over my dead lifeless corpse!"
"Remus!" Yelled Sirius.
Lupin took a deep breath, and sat back down. James was crying like crazy, which really did seem like a whimpy thing to do. The four 13 year-old boys sat arouund Dumbledore's fire, staring at it helplessly.
"You may go now." Dumbledore said.
They got up and slowly went back to the Great Hall. Lupin took a deep breath, and James was still crying. Peter was a bit disappointed too, but though he did not tell anyone, he really didn't like doing pranks. Sirius was a bit sad, and kept drawing pictures of Dumbledore that said above them, BIG MEANY. They saw Pella at school, though she kept asking what was wrong, none of them had the heart to answer. It WAS, or so they thought, the end of the Marauders. The Great Hall was extremely quiet, with no pranks going around, it was no suprise. It was a long day, the next morning, it began to snow.
"It's snowing! It's snowing!" Peter yelled out. "Wait 'til the others hear about this! We'll be able to push those horrible Slytherins into the-"
But, then there was a pause. There would be no more pushing Slytherins into the snow...No poring Hot Chocolate down the Slytherins' shirts...Not a thing to do that was a prank. Peter quickly rushed to Hogwarts, and saw the Marauders there. None of them were really cheery, but it was, of course, a BIT happy. But, then McGonagall rushed threw the hall, and grabbed them by their shirts. She pulled them into Dumbledore's office, and Dumbledore was there.
"Well," He said. "you did it. You went one whole day without doing one prank, and I must say, you did a very good job. So, do me a favor, and go push some Slytherins in the snow."
He smirked, and then James asked, "So, we can do pranks again?"
"Yes." Dumbledore replied.
And, they had a great time after that. What they thought was the end of the Marauders, really wasn't. And after that, they liked Dumbledore alot more.
