The light in his eyes, whispered to her and she heard him clearly. He lead her into the catacombs, where the dance was held. A million flashes, a million smiles. The music that played was soft. The invisible teen, took the faded ghoul into his grasp. He held the ghost gently at the waist as he danced slowly with her. The way she felt, as if he had taken her breath away all over again. Her fancy, silver gown flowing as they danced the night away, or as expected to. She needed him near her, for he was her happiness. Her joyous moment with him, was as how she imagined she'd be forever with him. The light sparked, especially in his eyes.

His silvery eyes locked on hers, he smiled happier than ever. He smoothed his hand through her fluffy purple hair. She giggled on the spot and cuddled closer to him.

"I love you."

"As do I."

Not much was said throughout the dance. All that was needed was a silence, for their gestures spoke loud enough. Spectra's head was against his chest, and his heart beat was so soothing. It wasn't often that a monster's heart would beat, but she found it comforting to know his did, and that the rhythm was calm.

The song was so short, but felt like forever. Though Spectra couldn't complain.

"I wish this night would never end." She mentioned, though her head still rested upon his chest, her eyes closed as they swayed side to side.

"Why do that? We need other things to speak of in the future, so why leave it all just to one story?"

"That's a different way to look at it." She replied.

"Yeah, we'll just make this night one to remember. It'll be one for the books...or the blogs if that's to your liking." He chuckled. Spectra giggled sweetly as he spoke. He put a smile on her face like no other.

It wasn't long before Invisibilly leaned in closer to her. Looking up to him, she followed along. Her glossed lips grazed upon his. Her soul rushing into her mouth. The feeling was as if her world was taken, and set spinning. She felt she was being drawn out, but in the best way possible. On her feet, still as can be, hypnotized. She felt like an angel, and angels fall.

Snapping into the sad reality, lost in the wake, Spectra had been seated in a distance all along. Her head propped up with her hand, she watched as the bean si and invisible boy danced happily, close to each other. The lust and light in his eyes were real, and were also Spectra's weakness. Viewing the couple from a distance, seeing as their lips brushed against one another. She felt as if she had been fooled. She'd be there for him forever, unlike a banshee, was she not right on her predicament? She was silent through the moment. Hushed like a whisper. It's there and gone.

The heart ache this ghoul felt, she only preferred to be out during this cold night rather than watch something that might have been. She'd rather be taken away from the party, and never look back. She felt drawn out, in the worst way possible. He'd never need her. She'd rather be lost. To make like a ghost, and disappear. This moment was as if having a mandrake in a bouquet of beautiful flowers, and the screaming. The horrid screeching to make one's body shiver.

The ghost thought that she could make his days filled with bliss, an afterlife of glory and wine. As she too, was once filled with life. The invisible man made her feel that life once more, but that life is just going down south from this point and on. Though, pain and glory went hand in hand. She thought, expected, hoped to be his eternal bride. Why was she not dressed in white? As a lite candle, the flame flickered away where there wasn't hope anymore. In this heart of darkness, would the light ever spark?
