Everyone knew that Uchiha Sasuke was downright hot. Everybody knew that he was a conceited bastard. But they never knew he had a soft spot for someone.

Apology
"Hey, Uchiha, you stepped on my assignment!" a young girl shrieked, grabbing the collar of the boy who dirtied her work.
Temari pulled and smirked when Sasuke fell to the floor on his butt.
Temari's companions got into a fit of silent giggles. Two of them, who were Tenten and Sakura, were quite dismal and only laughed a little. Hinata, who hadn't chuckled at all, stared at the Uchiha Prodigy, suppressing the giggles that threatened to come out.
Sasuke turned around swiftly, staring angrily at the quartet chortling in front of him. Sweeping off the invisible dust on his uniform, he stood grimly and gave Temari the most murderous of his well-known glares.
Unfortunately, much to his vexation, the pineapple-headed girl didn't even faze a bit. Instead, she just gave him a grunt and turned away from him, stomping off towards her friends. "You deserve it," she muttered under her breath.
"That was bit too mean, Temari," Tenten whispered to her as she sat down on the bench, "Don't you think you could have gone easy on him?"
"He's a jerk. Why would I be nice to him?"
Hinata sighed melodramatically albeit silently. Tenten scowled inwardly and nudged her 'friend' inaudibly for she needed back-up.
They all looked at the Hyuuga heiress with glassy eyes.
"Well, a-aren't we ss-upposed to… uhh… love o-our enemies?"
All 3 girls gawked at Hinata, miffed at what she just said. Temari raised an elegant eyebrow. "Pathetic."
Sakura backed her up, "That was the lamest comeback I've ever heard this side of the earth."
Before Hinata could reply and justify, and before Tenten could smack her on the forehead, Sasuke walked towards them, towering over Temari, his fists clenched rigidly. "Bitch," he mumbled silently, although he made sure Temari heard it.
Hinata froze and looked over at Temari, who was already muttering profanities under her breath. She faced Kaji vehemently and said, "Would it hurt you to say sorry, huh?"
Instead of replying, the Uchiha simply turned around and began to walk away from them, but he unintentionally stepped on Hinata's foot. Hinata whimpered lightly as Sasuke looked back at her impassively.
"Sorry," Sasuke murmured coldly, before walking away from the quartet.
"He apologized to you, Hinata," Tenten stated, dumbfounded. Sakura and Temari were flabbergasted. How could Sasuke apologize to Hinata when he didn't even apologize for ruining Temari's assignment?
A surge of shock ran down Hinata's spine as she just took in what happened.
"Do you like him?" Tenten asked immaturely, before getting slapped on the shoulder by Sakura (who was obviously jealous). Temari just grinned at her ominously.
"N-No," Hinata retorted back, the need to be timid was implied on her tone. What the hell just happened?!
