Everything was pretty quiet at Katara's house, she and Aang were watching television when Sokka came running in the front door from outside. "I got it! I got it!" He said happily, running to the DVD player and putting a movie in.
"What are you so excited about?" Katara asked very confused by her brother's actions.
"I got Toy Story 3!" Sokka replied, grinning as he sat down on the couch in between Katara and Aang. The movie began and the words "The Last Airbender" flashed in big letters on the screen.
"Um Sokka this doesn't look like Toy Story 3…." Aang trailed off kind of confused by the movie.
"What in the world is this?" Katara said as she pressed play. The opening of the movie began talking about the four different nations.
"I can't believe this." Aang and Katara both said at the same time.
"I know! I can't believe the movie store didn't give me Toy Story 3! I really was looking forward to it." Sokka complained.
"Sokka look that's us!" Katara said, pointing to the screen.
"What? How do they know that's how it happened? Are there secret ninjas following us with cameras?" Sokka said looking around the room.
"Hey look it's me and Appa." Aang exclaimed happily.
"Well maybe this isn't so bad—wait did they pronounce you and Sokka's name wrong?" Katara asked. She listened to the movie again and found that she was right.
"That's going to get pretty annoying." Sokka said. They watched for a few minutes in silence until the scene where Zuko came to the South Pole.
"Well this is umm different." Aang said.
"I am way better looking than that!" Zuko said looking at the television.
"Jeez Zuko where did you come from?" Sokka asked, a little frightened by the firebender's sudden appearance.
"The third story window. Now back to this movie, why does my uncle have frickin dreadlocks and why are they saying his name wrong?" Zuko asked as he took a seat on the couch.
"They're pronouncing everyone's name wrong." Katara replied.
"I don't know about you guys about you guys but I thought our adventures were a bit more fun. Everyone is so serious in the movie." Aang said.
"Yeah Sokka you look more serious than Zuko." Katara said laughing.
"I'm supposed to be the funny one too!" Sokka exclaimed. They watched the movie in silence again until the scene where Zuko talks to some kid.
"I want you all to know that I do not ask young kids why my life sucks and tell them my life's story." Zuko said as he watched the scene.
"Yeah I really can't picture you doing that." Katara said. The next scene was where Aang and Katara waterbend, it was almost painful to watch.
"They have that all wrong." Aang said.
"You're telling me, at least they have the basics of air and waterbending, they left out the major detail that firebenders can create fire they don't need it around them to bend." Zuko complained.
Momo made some noise that can be translated as "At least you guys are in the movie, I'm in there for two seconds."
"Don't feel bad Momo this movie got nothing right." Aang said. Then Toph came in with a DVD in her hands.
"Ah man, I was hoping we could watch Toy Story 3" She said holding the disc.
"Yes! Let's watch that!" Everyone said at the same time.
"But you guys aren't done with your movie." She replied.
"Believe me, its okay that movie sucks." Zuko said as he took out The Last Airbender DVD and put in Toy Story 3.
