Annabeth never thought she would be able to be so romantic, but then again, she never thought she would have met someone like Percy Jackson.
The Argo II stopped travelling for a while cause of a supply pit-stop and everyone had something to do... everyone except Percy... and Leo.
It was the perfect occasion to finally arrange something nice for her boyfriend, who seemed pretty stressed and definitely in need of a distraction from all his, and well... their, problems.
And since Leo had nothing better to do than plan some pranks to pull on Frank, she was gonna ask for his help.
"Percy! There you are! I need your help...Leo went all "Leo" in my room and now everything is a mess! I don't know what he was looking for but now I CANNOT FIND IT ANYMORE! MY INVISIBILITY CAP! Working or not working, I need to know where it is!"
"Whoa, calm down OCD! I bet I can find it in 5 minutes" Percy smirked at her, with a weird macho attitude that was more funny than sexy.
"Ok, the bet is on! GO!" The blonde responded, trying not to giggle at his attempt of being the alpha male whilst keeping a mix of serious and annoyed expression.
After looking around for a couple of minutes, Percy moved a pile of books on her desk and:"I'M BATMAN! It was right there. How could you not see it? What are you, blind?"
"Oh, shut up, Percy! You're such a douche when you want to be! Just because, for once, you happen to be the smart one doesn't mean you're some kind of superhero!"
"Really? I just saved your precious hat and that's all you have to say? Alright, fine. I bet a certain redhead would have said only nice things, like, I dunno. "Thank you so much, Percy! You're my hero!" or something like that. Maybe she would even shriek a little bit."
"OH MY GODS, SEAWEED BRAIN! There must be something deeply wrong in you!"
And with that she stormed out the room, slamming the door. She marched towards the common room, with a scary look on her face. Percy was kind of worried, but still, he ran after her cause he realized he'd acted a bit bitchy.
He tried to apologize: "Look, Annabeth, I'm sorry, okay? I know I shouldn't have brung Rachel up but -" he stopped talking cause, in the meantime, she had opened the door and what he saw took the words away from him. The room was enlightened only by a lot of sea-scented candles and the table was set up for two. The food, of course, was all blue. The only thing that was off, was the cook: Leo stood awkwardly next to the table wearing an apron (with the words"kiss the cook" embroidered on it) and a tall chef hat. He started mumbling: "Oh...eeer... Hi guys... I guess I should go now... you should probably thank Piper for the candles and stuff...Okay, enjoy!" He left pretty quickly with a grin on his face.
Now that they were alone, Percy turned around to face a blushing Annabeth. "Too much?" she asked, chewing her upper lip. He shook his head, giggling," Aphrodite would be so proud of you". She rolled her eyes, trying hard not to smile and Percy took her face between his hands, "It's perfect, just like you" and he placed a soft kiss on her lips "Now, let's dig in!".
